Imagine if we land Corn and Sprinkle.

Love this. One of my favourite guys in the draft. Can be an elite slot guy in the NFL and tackles like crazy.
Corn Elder - "He allowed a mere 0.33 yards per coverage snap from the slot last year, and missed just four of the 70 solo tackles he attempted"

I don't mind Elder. But check out... look at ANY ranking, and tell me if you can find even one that has Elder ranked ahead of Damontae Kazee as a nickel back. From what I've seen, people say Elder will be a good nickel... no complaits... but at the same time I'm seeing people gush over Kazee.
Then again, stats like this are interesting. I'd love to know if the Jaguar actually do have Elder over Kazee on their board.

I think we brought on Peterman for a visit too..
This tweet was from Mile DiRocco
GM Dave Caldwell said Jaguars will bring QB Nathan Peterman in for visit pre-draft. He's local kid (Bartram Trail). Standard procedure.

If he was 6-0/6-1 we'd be talking about a sure sure first round pick. I'd love to get him in the 3rd or 4th and have him take over if/when Colvin hits FA.

But sometimes teams do draft guys they never have visits with.

I see them refining their draft strategy with these invites...
- With Fournette you want to know if he's the pick or is it Jonathan Allen who is also visiting this week.
- With McCaffery not being invited I get the feeling they have no intent to trade back and don't have any anticipation of him falling out of round one.
- With Cook they're thinking he might be there in round two, so, like they did with Cam Robinson, they're doing their homework.
- With Mixon I take it they just want to know the full story... including his side... just in case he really does start to tumble. I don't see the Jaguars taking him in the first three rounds, but they might find themselves looking at RB options in round four, so they have to know if he'd be an option should he fall that far.

Interesting that we're talking to Mixon still.
