That would be sick to have Fowler Jr, Odrick, Malik Jackson, Marks, Bosa, and Roy Miller in the lineup.. (almost all of them can play any role on DL above average level to make interesting matchups for the opposing teams).
I assume Rams are drafting a QB why else give up so much for the 1st overall pick, but the other QB could go in the top 4 too... that is going to make for a very tough choice for GM Dave Caldwell in this year's draft!

SF can just sit at 7 and take Wentz... unless they feel Dallas is going to take him.
In which case, they need to trade up to 3 to get ahead of Dallas.
I don't think Dallas goes QB in round 1.
And there is absolutely no way Caldwell passes on Jack.

I don't see Caldwell passing on Jack to take Bosa. I just don't.

I've heard multiple analysts I respect, Pat Kirwan being one of them, say Bosa will be solid but has pretty much peaked and isn't a game changer. I'm not not claiming to know what his potential is, but I'd be lying if I said those comments didn't concern me at pick number 5.

*throws up* No thanks........ I do like the 49ers trade up though. Please make that happen!!
GO JAGS!!

You guys always try to make like Dave thinks just like you
Now if you were talking about a guy not highly rated yea he wont pick them over Jack

But even with this, I'd still take another edge rusher/LEO in the first three rounds. Every position would have a good starter and good depth except the LEO, where Fowler is returning from a knee and he has no backup at the moment.

Myles Jack can play 3-4 positions.
Versatility is big with DC I think.
Maybe because he knows he may have to change HCs, and thus, schemes.

I like this mock with the choice of Bosa or Jack. The Jags would do well with either selection; strong arguments can be made for each.

I find the cowboys/9ers trade a bit odd. Id think 9ers would have a better shot with browns or chargers than say the cowboys.

I could see San Francisco trading up to ensure a team like Philadelphia doesn't trade up to get the other QB. They were in the running for the first overall pick after all.

I easily could see that. I don't think it'll happen, but that wouldn't shock me at all.

Bosa is the safer pick for an immediate impact. It has been reported there have been mixed opinions about the health of his knee. If I were a Gm that would be a major concern to me.

As a GM, the only thing that would concern me about his knee is the medical report from my own team doctors.

Myles Jack won't be the pick for the same reason that LT Tunsil won't be the pick, the GM & HC need to win this year.. where Tunsil will take awhile (mid to late season) to be a good LT & possibly until next year before really, really good...
Myles Jack if playing MILB has to gain weight, he has to heal & probably wont even be healthy enough to play week 1 & if you rush him you'll add the risk of reinjury which you dont want... Myles Jack is a better pick for a team that can have him heal for half of the season or more... like outside of the top 10 IMO

I think the idea is to have Jack play outside on early downs and leave Poz at MLB, take Poz off for pass downs and Jack can cover.
It is all relative to the medical check by the Jags, and whatever they saw Sat.
If DC feels good about it, you can bet your bottom dollar Jack would be the pick if available.
I don't agree on your opinion of Tunsil at all. From everything I've heard, seen, or read... He is a day 1 LT and an LT for a decade.
You don't need to bring those guys along.
If Jack slips past us, then the rumors of medical not checking might be true, and we could see him slide out of the top ten, but I doubt it.
If his medical check is no good...
I wouldn't be mad at picking Bosa, Lawson, or even Floyd at 5 if Jack/Ramsey are gone.

He is currently listed at 245.
Luke Kuechly is listed at 238 and plays MLB.
The knee is the only concern. Most medical sources I've read/heard have indicated the knee should be healed by now.
I've seen video of him running around a course.
I think if they (Dave and Gus) are satisfied with what they saw in person and the medical report, he'd have to be the pick.
There is, however, another thing that gives me pause.
The national consensus is that the Jaguars will take Jack at 5. But when has the national consensus ever had an accurate read on what the Jaguars will do in the draft?
