It sucks but it happens.
Some said it doesn't effect draft plans and it shouldn't. I still think we needed to take a CB in rounds 2-4 anyway for insurance against Prince"s injury history and 1 year deal.

Lol Welp, our CB that has yet to have his first career int (of whom we are quite used to not being on the field) is suspended for four games, better force a top 5 draft pick on a CB.
Colvin is overrated. I like his potential as much as the next guy, but I'm going to have to wait until he gets his first pick before I start wanting to burn a top 5 draft choice on his replacement for 4 games.

What the hell does this even mean?
He's so bad that he's not even worth replacing? Once he improves, only then will you be in favor of upgrading?
Oh.

Trade Luke J. to the Jets for Revis...win/win!

Didn't he pick-6 to beat the Giants at the Bank? Now that I (try to) think about it, that may have been a fumble recovery as Joe is pretty reliable in his info. I do remember it was a turnover and 22 brought it down the East sideline and in.
Regardless, we do need a CB anyway. As Uber said, Prince's contract is for only a year. The right thing to do, IMO. is to draft a CB and work him in this year...then deal with Amukamara based on what happens with him this year.
That being said, I also say no to a CB at 5 although I would be happy with Ramsey (but not VH3).

There are a good amount of CBs this year.
Take Jack or Bosa in the 1st and then hope one of them falls to you in the 2nd.

These players should know by now which drugs they can/cannot take. If they are unsure, bring it to the team doctors. What a moron...

Sigh... Oh yea, forgot who I'm talking to.
You see, when you lose a corner that has yet to have an interception, whom you have played without before, for a whopping FOUR games, it's not that big of a deal. Certainly not big enough of a deal to force a top 5 draft pick.
But yea, I guess that means I don't want to upgrade the position.

Quote:In fairness, I kinda agree that Colvin is overrated at this point in his career, but in fairness every CB gets burnt from time to time.
He was targeted alot last season imo. I think people on here see his high sack numbers and forget about his coverage skills. At this point, hes not even number 2 CB worthy.

You could have had the greatest secondary on the planet, and they would have struggled to cover anyone for the amount of time this defense was giving opposing QBs to pick them apart. He may very well be somewhat overrated, but I think people put too much emphasis on the way the secondary was picked apart last year while ignoring why that was.

I agree. That's like saying "Marcedes Lewis got suspended 4 games! Better draft a TE in the first" Even though we have JT.
I'm high on Colvin, I think he catches a lot of flak from some here, but yeah, him being out for 4 games does not equate to forcing a CB at 5.

Reading here, you'd think it's only the stupid Jaguars that do that...

That could be a good thing..

Miller was suspended for attempting to cheat the testing process, not for a positive test.

All of the usual suspects have been represented.
The best thing is that they talk about how much he sucks, but in the same breath complain that he is gone for four games.
Bibbing at it's best.

True, but its clear he's best suited in the slot. When he was moved to the outside, he struggled mightily.
