Quote:Fred Taylor>>> MJD, Can't believe someone actually believes otherwise.

Apparently MJD is a candidate for most underrated Jaguar.

68 TDs (1804 touches) VS 62 TDs (2428 touches)

Quote:Also, IMO Mathis is being underrated here (that's quite weird lol). IMO there were seasons were the only CB better than him was Champ Bailey.
Probably the best corner in the league at covering Hall of Famer Marvin Harrison

Um... Taylor had 62 TDs on 2428 rushing attempts.  He did, however, accumulate 11,271 rushing yards, compared to MJD's 8071.

I edited it to what it should be. I was copying and pasting while driving on my phone which is a dumb thing to do, you shouldn't do that. Point being, MJD scored more TDs than Fred Taylor on only 75% of the number of touches on the football that Freddy had.

To be fair MJD did things that Freddie wasn't nearly as good at such as Special Teams returner, Mojo was a great blocking RB, and had better hands than Freddie... but Freddie was the better running back for running purposes...

but.. MJD played on a crapy team where teams would game plan for him solely unliked Freddie whom had weapons on offense defenses had to cover/gameplan for...

Look they were both great players... hopefully TJ yeldon gets even better in his 2nd year with Chris Ivory taking reps
Boselli and DD20.

Quote:Boselli and DD20.

The only issue is DD20 couldn't play the way he did today.  He would be penalized every game.

EDIT:

Couldn't is a strong word.  I mean there is the possibility his play style would be blunted.

I'm not sure what you're referring to. Darius was a textbook tackler who never dove with his head or horse collared players. What did he do that would be illegal today?

Robert Ferguson might disagree with you. :p

What happened to him was just as illegal back then as it is today.

And it certainly wasn't textbook tackling.
Quote:Ok....with your 2 additions that you made, along with your draft board. What does your team look like?

And predict your record and predict where you end up in the playoffs.

With Boselli and Brackens as my previous.

I'm drafting VH3 in round 1, and Brothers at LB in round 2.

I predict my team will go 12-4.

And I would make it to the AFC title game. We would probably lose to the Patriots.
Beachum is now LG. Joker is trade bait or backup swing tackle.

My round 1 pick is still Myles Jack because Otto now, MLB of the future.

Fowler is truly a chess piece with Brackens slotting in at LEO.

Grab another DB at the top of round 2, either SS or CB (I'd go with Artie Burns)

The rest of the draft is depth.

I don't know exactly how good the team would be, but I'd feel safe betting on them to win the AFCS with a 10+ win season.

No... it was a textbook clothesline.

Pretty simple for me

This
Boselli

DD

DD was one of my favorite players, but to say he wouldn't get penalized more in todays football is false. Check out my avatar, DD wasn't always nice. Even tho he was a textbook tackler for the most part, he was hard. Hits like he used to deliver would definately be penalized a whole lot more in Goodells NFL.

Btw I was also there for the road win against the steelers. MOJO was a special player for sure. He had a way to will the jaguars back into any situation.

If he played with bortles it'd be an amazing offense that would very balanced.

Not saying taylor would be bad with this team. I think.MOJO and yeldon would be a better fit than Freddy and yeldon.

Can't go wrong with either really. MOJO may be the right pick based on current league direction and team build. He could never be stopped when you needed 1 yard. In fact if the team needed 3 yards with MOJO and bortles lined up, how could you defend it without relying on luck?
Dear Lord,

Did I read somewhere someone putting Bobby McCray in the same sentence as Tony Brackens?

Double D, who couldn't cover for the first 2/3rds of his career?

BRACKENS AND BOSELLI, like so easy, a non question.
at this point i'd like Meester for center since we don't yet have a solution there

defense either mathis or peterson, which ever position does worse this year lol

Brackens in his prime.  Good golly Miss Molly, what a DL that would make for this year.  Give me Boselli in his prime if I'm being greedy.
