So, suppose there's a transgender person who identifies as a man but who still has woman parts. Charlotte passed a law that said he could use the men's restroom. North Carolina passed a law that said he could not use the men's restroom because he had lady parts. So the result of this is that a person who looks like a man and who dresses like a man is going to have to use the ladies' restroom. So the police are called because there's a guy in the ladies' restroom. The police show up and they demand to see this person's private parts to see what restroom he/she should be using. The person says, I have lady parts, you need to call a lady policeman. The lady police person shows up and they go to a private place, and the trans person pulls down his/her pants to show his/her private parts.
Have I got this right so far?
And it all came about because North Carolina passed a law that said that men who have lady parts have to use the ladies' restroom.
Jesus Christ, don't they have better things to worry about?

Isn't that the point? Make them notice the shiny object over there, so they won't question why more more important issues aren't being addressed.
You can fool some of the people all of the time.

What is the above link supposed to prove?
That is a small group of anti-gay doctors. What do you expect them to say?

Not only that, it's irrelevant to the thread topic. Nobody here is talking about encouraging children to pursue their early gender identification. Maybe they are dumb enough to think a child will want to change genders if they see a trans person in a bathroom.

The police aren't going to ask to see anyone's genitalia. They're going to get called out and not be able to prove anything. They can, however, ask them to leave the store. I'm sure there will be some sort of civil suit against the store, but the police wont inspect anyone.
When was this ever a problem before?

They be the debil for sure.....
Quote:But the real "he-she's or she-he's" aren't what causes this and it violates their "rights".
Bottom line is, if you have an 'outie' between your legs you use the men's restroom. If you have an 'inny' use the women's restroom. It doesn't really matter what you "identify" as, it's what you actually are. What you "identify" as is psychological. What you actually are is physical.
The trouble with that is, trans people who identify as men are going to dress as men and cut their hair as men. If they have to use the women's restroom because they have women parts, then the police are going to be called all the time because people are going to see "a man" going into the women's restroom.
Then on the other side, trans people who identify as women will dress as women and appear to be women, but because they have men parts they will have to use the men's room, and that will just out them as trans people and get them beat up a lot.
This whole law about using the right bathroom is a solution in need of a problem. A "guy" goes into the men's room and uses the stall, who's to know what's going on in there? A "woman" walks into the women's room and uses a stall, who's to know what's going on in there? I just don't get the big deal about this.

This is beyond using the toilet, it also impacts gyms, locker rooms, dorms, all kinds of places where gender privacy is important.
