Interesting. That's a tough division to compete in. Maybe Hue Jackson will have some good ways to utilize RGIII and sort of "revitalize" his career? We'll see.

the Browns homers will be unbearable this season.  They will convince themselves that RG3 will have a career resurgence.

What really sucks is that it could mean a QB won't go 2nd overall, which is bad for the Jaguars.

They will. Looking at his contract its only 2 year/15 mil. Thats not to much to pay him. They could still draft someone and let them battle it out. He would then make no more than Chase Daniels who is a career back up (makes me think Henne's deal was cheap now lol). They could even trade and another team could take a qb. Those scenarios would bode well for the Jags still.

Even if RG3 is capable of a resurgence, that team is so devoid of talent no one will notice. RG3 is going to have a rough year with that squad in that division.

I don't know. The Browns have a decimated roster at this point. They lost a lot of good players in FA. They may be planning on taking the best available player at #2 and draft a QB in the 2nd or 3rd round as competition.

Is there roster any better than our 2014 roster when we drafted Blake?

At this point Hue Jackson and Bruce Arians are the only two coaches that I think could fix RG3.  Their is a very good chance they are more terrible than usual this year.

The Browns could be the first team since Detroit to go 0-16. Possibly the hardest schedule in the NFL.

  Another possibility,  which might be combined with what you mentioned,  is the Browns believe they will be in position to get a blue chip QB prospect in the 2017,   In the meantime,  they can get a top prospect at another position with pick # 2 or trade down if the opportunity presents itself.

  As bad as the Browns currently look in the short term,  it takes a perfect storm to go 0-16.   Including, probably being on the wrong end of an impactful officiating call,  like the Lions were in Minnesota in the 2008 season.    My gut feeling at this time is the Browns will win between 1 and 4 games,  with 2 or 3 wins the most likely outcome.

It just as hard to go 0-16 as it is to go 16-0 but the Browns situation is the most likely I've seen in years. Especially with the way their division is.

  The division the Browns are in is a good point.    Yet,  one of the reasons why I think the Browns will win at least 1 game,  even if Josh Gordon remains off their roster,  is RGIII could easily get hot on a given Sunday/ Thursday Night.   Though RGIII hasn't performed well for the most part since the knee injury he suffered as a rookie,   he still has the natural ability to have a game or two over the course of a long season that he can be the difference in his team winning.

Which Browns homers are you talking to? Myself and everyone I have talked to have pretty well accepted that RG3 is a stop gap.

Jackson has been pretty up front with RG3 that they will likely be drafting a QB early in the first. Jackson has only attended the pro days for Wentz and Goff. Seems pretty transparent as to what will happen.

I can't help but think that Andy Reid could get him right, just like he redirected Vick a few years back. I don't think Griffin could start in KC right away though, but that might be a good thing.
