With free agency winding down its time to turn our attention to the draft. If you have any info linking the Jags to a visit or meeting with a prospect post it here. I pulled this from walterfootball (I know I know):

Jacksonville Jaguars' scout meeting with Arkansas guard Sebastian Tretola. #SeniorBowl
#Jaguars meeting w/ Australian punter Alex Kinal of Wake Forest.
#SeniorBowl
#Jaguars staff sure meeting w/ a lot of QBs today, now meeting with Jeff Driskel from #LATech
#Jaguars just met with QB Dak Prescott, now meeting with #TCU RB Aaron Green. We actually like the idea of a player like Green in JAX.
Just spoke with Baylor DT Andrew Billings and he met with the #Cowboys, #Jaguars, and #Vikings today. The Jags made him sing a song. #NFL
Oregon OL Tyler Johnstone met with the #Jaguars this week in Indianapolis, per source. Athletic, 6-5, 301 lbs, ran an impressive 7.31 3 cone
I read a week or so ago on twitter (can't remember who gave the info) that we had Jayron Kearse (safety) visiting us that day.
This is a good thread. Visits coming really soon!

I agree.
:thanks:
We've had a handful of guys who visited in the past that we've drafted so it can definitely give us a small peek into what's going on in the war room. Guys that have visited previously that we've drafted off the top of my head:
Bowanko
Sterling
Yeldon
Fowler
Bortles
Bennett
Greene

Yes, exactly. If there are say 10 in house visits, I think it would be safe to say at least 2 of them are going to be Jaguars.

<p class="">I'm told former <a class="" href='https://twitter.com/hashtag/OhioState?src=hash'>#OhioState</a> CB Eli Apple has visits and/or meetings with more than 16 teams, including the <a class="" href='https://twitter.com/hashtag/Jags?src=hash'>#Jags</a>, <a class="" href='https://twitter.com/hashtag/Bucs?src=hash'>#Bucs</a>, <a class="" href='https://twitter.com/hashtag/Rams?src=hash'>#Rams</a> and <a class="" href='https://twitter.com/hashtag/Dolphins?src=hash'>#Dolphins</a>.

He's a very intriguing prospect if a trade back to the 10-15 range happens, and Dodd and Lawson are gone.
Anyone know what song they made Billings sing? That guy looks like he is gonna beast.

Haha Billings reminds me of Dontarie Poe
Alex McCalister would be a great fit

The #Jaguars made Andrew Billings sing a song of his choice in his interview. He chose "Lean on Me". He said his singing wasn't great.
Curious if anyone could explain the QB meetings. Is it pretty standard for all teams to meet with the majority of 1st-2nd prospects?
I once heard a great GM say that a team should always look to add a qb. Even if you're set. In Gene we trusted.

I think Dave is going to keep bringing in a couple UDFA QBs a year and hope to find a nice backup while Blake is the man in charge. No reason to waste a pick at this point.

This is true. They can add one without necessarily drafting one.
I wonder if they had a visit with Ogbah. I can see him at 5. Hopefully see him wreak havoc opposite Fowler.
Wonder if we'll bring in Jack; or if they know all they need to know....
GO JAGS!!

I'm sure they will bring in a lot of the top guys for personal visits.

Due diligence, and equally impotant is the fact that the Jags may encounter these guys in their second contract period in the league and they'll know them that much better.
You never know if one of these guys becomes our backup down the road - or even a starter if tradgedy strikes our guy.
*knocks on all of the wood in room immediately
N.C. State defensive end Mike Rose, who participated in the Shrine Game and a player many felt deserved an invitation to Indianapolis, turned heads during the Wolfpack pro day. Rose measured 6024, 261 pounds, timed 4.67/4.66 in the 40, 4.40 in the short shuttle and 7.47 in the 3-cone. He posted a vertical jump of 33.5 inches, a broad of 9-8 and completed 17 reps on the bench (33.5-inch arms).
I'm told Rose did an extensive amount of positions drills, many of which were linebacker drills, and looked really good. He met one-on-one with the Jacksonville Jaguars, Indianapolis Colts, San Diego Chargers, San Francisco 49ers, Denver Broncos and Cleveland Browns.
