For some reason to the entire NFL that does not matter. To me it does. The turn over battle decides games.
College stats do not correlate to NFL stats.

If that was the case.... He who shall not be named would still be a QB in the NFL.
1. Bosa

2. Ramsey

3. Jack

I don't know I don't see all the hoopla for calling this draft a good defensive Draft. I just don't see it. I think the best players in the draft are probably Ramsey and then Tunsil.

After that you just have way too many talented players that either aren't consistent, have issues, or both

Wouldn't say that's true. A guy who's shown he can get his hands on the ball consistently will probably translate more than a guy who doesn't. Tebow is a terrible comparison since he never had an NFL skill-set and only got as far as he did thanks to pure dumb luck.
Beware the blind who were championing Geno Smith as a second overall pick.

source = garbage

But then, that's an insult to garbage.

If you are talking about Blaine Gabbert, no not really he never was really any good in college either. OOOH he had 16 TDS in a year, congrats. His team wasnt all that great either, they were alright but nothing spectacular.
Quote:So you admit he could be a good player in the NFL at safety? Yeah they are ridiculous.

No I have no idea how good he will be. I will say he can jump really high and run fast so that's a start, anything else is a projection. He played mostly corner in college.

It absolutely is true. Stats can be important but for the most part, they don't translate to the NFL.

How many college sacks did Watt have? And Michael Sam?

I would much rather take a guy who has great tape but maybe not the numbers over a guy who has great numbers but his tape is suspect.

Good tackler, can play anywhere in the secondary if needs be,plays with a lot of passion, athletic freak, long arms,leader..these are the reasons he is projected as top 5 pick.
I like Myles Jack because of the athlete he is, but if he is the pick, he'd have to become our ILB. He isn't a fit at OTTO unless the team decides to get rid of that position. Have a bulkier d-line with smaller LBs. Poz gets off the field on 3rd down, with Smith and Jack as the LBs. With Fowler, Marks/Odrick, Jackson, and Davis as the potential lightning package.

As of right now, it's between Jack, Ramsey, and Bosa. If we take Jack or Bosa, I'd expect an adjustment to the scheme. I'd like the idea of Fowler and Bosa As Our DEs.
Quote:They compare him to Woodson 16 ints and lot 14 ints. Vs 3 how?
Woodson also returned kicks and played offense lol, some thing he never did at FSU

Based on FA, I think Jack and Bosa are our top 2

Quote:Carolina's turnover ratio last year: +20

Denver's:  -4

(turnovers are still a big deal, but folks are running wild with Ramsey's INT number - you have to remember he wasn't playing the CB role much of the time he was on the field)

I think people would be very shock when they look at Earl Thomas' INT #s.

Sure Ramsey at 15 range I can accept it based on need. Thomas was drafted 14 not top 5. Next!

Cant hit on them all. No one does.

LoL so hindsight you wouldn't take Thomas at 5??!?!

Sam played DE all for years of college and never cracked above 5 sacks until his senior year. Watt converted to DE for two years after transferring and was putting up better pressure stats along with improving his overall numbers.

Watt showed continued improvement while Sam basically had a flash-in-the-pan senior season.

No he was drafted where he needed to be. To make me change my mind about top 5 money for a guy that cant catch no. Just no. If we draft him and he proves me wrong great! But doubt it.

Thomas is by far the best safety in the league. And it's not even close.

People missed on Thomas bad.

I hope you don't really have a radio show.

I did. But I have no time now. Cause I run a station. And not sports. Though if found time. Love to bring it back.

I am actually a very intelligent guy. Just typing in message boards is not my strong suit.
