Quote:I don't know how you get Obama into this.  I don't see anything he's done to cause this kind of stuff.
Obama has been race baiting since he got into office. I had no clue when I voted for him in '08 what a divisive person he would end up being.
Quote:Then why wouldn't he disavow them when he was asked a direct question about them, and he even repeated the question back before he refused to answer?   Why would he waffle on the issue of the Klan and David Duke?   I'll tell you why.  It's because those are some of his strongest supporters.

When were the Dem candidates asked to disavow Eric Holder and other black supremacists?

Quote:On a side note, there was a study that says kids who grew up listening to heavy metal actually have higher IQs. Might be on to something here.

Welp...they don't fall into the Trump supporter category then.
Quote:Suggesting Trump is a racist who accepts endorsements from the KKK is far more "reaching" than anything suggested in the above posts.

His ties are made in China and sold at KKKMart.
Never has this type of bull piss happened in recent memory in a campaign. The protest was perhaps out of line, however to say there was nothing instigating it, is pure tunnel vision.

Trump has divided everyone more than BO has in a mere few months .

All we are getting is a bite of a big piss sandwich from this years campaign candidates.

It was the culmination of the campaign, and not exactly recent history, but the 1968 Democrat National Convention was quite the hootenanny.

Strange. I got some time off .. Suspension...when I forwarded a link that contained profanity. Different standards I suppose
This entire election is shaping up to be a major cluster [BLEEP].

Lord help us.

I remember watching that one on TV.   What a disaster.

I think people on the extremes are particularly sensitive to issues of race.   Both the far left and the far right.   Ever since Obama got elected, some people have been watching to see if a black President would favor black people.   Personally, I didn't notice it, because I don't feel particularly threatened by black people.

And also, people on the right have played up every little thing Obama has done in order to play on white people's fears of black people taking over, or getting their jobs, or somehow getting an advantage over them.   My opinion is that Obama's opponents have accused him of race baiting, when in actuality, what they are doing is actually race baiting, playing on white fear and white resentment.

"Look at how Obama is favoring black people over white people!"   <That is actually race baiting in itself.

To be fair, I think a lot of this racial polarization has been caused by policies fostered by the left, particularly affirmative action.   I think affirmative action is very bad policy, and one reason is because it stokes so much racial animosity.

Quote:He is wedging Americans against non-Americans and I don't see the problem. This country and its citizens come first every time.

No trump is playing class warfare on a whole new level. Except he's convincing the public its our patriotic duty to take on more of a burden to force businesses back state side.

I don't have a problem with his immigration policy, hell I'm for a DMZ if needed on the border and then go a step further shut off welfare funding at the federal level.

I have a problem with trumps twisted idea of tarriffs and raising the cost of goods.

What do you call an Attorney General who states that whites cannot be considered victims of hate crimes?

Many supporters of Trump (and Obama) feel oppressed. Maybe they are, maybe not. It doesn't matter whether they are right or wrong, public opinion has a strong voice.

You guys should research white supremacy before you declare Holder to be cut of the same cloth. He has a skewed view of how best to level the playing field, but he's a far cry from what was going on at the height of Reconstruction then into the Jim Crow era.

Claims he will whip ISIS. Knock the snot out of them ( Says Mr.Deferment)

Afraid to speak at a local college due to protests.

Tough guy.

Oh yeah...didn't want any violence. Maybe break out the violins?

Sounds like change we can believe in.

Great stuff.

Holder didn't own white slaves either. I guess that makes him A-OK.

Jim Crow? Reconstruction? Do you want to go back any farther? I'm not familiar with the so-called white supremacists, but I doubt they want to bring back Jim Crow and slavery.
