Quote:Mike DiRocco has a good post on ESPN about how the Gibson signing benefits Cyprien by allowing him to play in the box like the team envisioned when it drafted him.

It would be nice to see some good play out of Cyprien.  TBH this is his last chance as a Jaguar.
Gipson lol

?? Calm your [BLEEP] down
#Excited!

Quote:The strong push for Vernon makes me think Bosa or Spence may be in play in round 1

I'd rather Spence. He's the better pure rusher

Gus and the gang had the pleasure of coaching him up for a week, there in Mobile. If he was to be the pick (preferably after a trade back) they should have a pretty good idea on just what they're getting.
Wow hats off
Best pick up from this whole free agent scam. Figured they'd need to get a productive defensive end to make that Jackson signing worth it.

To me the best move in the start of this season so far... Free Safety has been the biggest need on this team for several years... and I was a bit upset with Sergio Brown signing last year but tried to give him the benefit of the doubt only to see that he was the average FS I had thought he was & not a ball hawk... really need a strong FS to have Gus Bradley's scheme work right... he also needs a really good pass rushing Leo DE which we all had hoped Fowler was not sure if Malik is doing that role or if they are going to put him at DT?
How much was Sergio?

2 claps and a see ya later?

Sergio Brown signed a 3 year, $7,000,000 contract with the Jacksonville Jaguars, including $250,000 guaranteed, and an average annual salary of $2,333,333. In 2016, Brown will earn a base salary of $2,250,000.Brown has a cap hit of $2,250,000

----------------------------------------------------

I assume they will keep Brown on the roster for depth, rotation for certain packages....

at least that would be the smart thing to do....

-----------------------------------
Just upset now that it needs a whole roster of pro-bowlers to make Gus Bradley's D work

Yeah, might as well keep him with that...WOOOOOOO!

It doesn't.

But it definitely takes more than a Clemons/Branch led pass rush, with our safeties being Sergio Brown and Jon Cyprien, along with Poz being out there and blowing coverages due to being awful in coverage on vital 3rd downs.

Love me some Poz, he's damn good against the run, but man is he a sight* for sore eyes on 3rd and long.

GiPson

Can we stop Talking Noah Spence, No Bend, No motor, with character issues. People talking second round after interviews at the combine! Bosa, Ramsey, Jack, hargreaves in a trade back situation. Love this signing. Opens up the draft completely for Us!!!!

We'll see, but one thing is for sure; no more excuses.

I'm almost positive that we'll be playing him at DT along with Marks.
