I'm sure some posters know I like Hargreaves and Ramsey, primarily the first of the two due to his natural cover ability and playmaking at corner.Id have these guys as my top 3. However after the combine interview with Jack and watching him play more and more I feel he is the most "jaguar" like player. He is upbeat, fun, fast, and physical. He plays like he enjoys the game and that resonates with our front office. Hoping we attack pass rush and secondary in FA, I feel we go with Myles Jack who some feel is the best player in the draft.
I'd take Jack with a big ol' smile on my face.
Hes got one on his face at all times, which kinda gives me the jaguars player type. Much like Telvin and Dante Fowler do at all times.
when was the last time an offball linebacker was drafted top 5
My gut, and feeling from Dave's multiple comments about how hard a franchise FS is to find, still thinks that if Ramsey is available he's the pick. It sure seems like it would be real hard to mess this pick up though between Ramsey, Jack, and Bosa.
We've already got our first-round pick from last year recovering from a devastating knee injury. Let's keep the IR train rolling!

He is going to be ready next week, checked out by Docs the 11th. We wont need IR for him. Has all offseason to continue to rest it up. Injuries happen dude, every team has them and its impossible to prevent.

You're kind of hurting your case here...
I don't see Jack as a top ten talent primarily because of the position he plays. If you're going to draft a front-seven player in the top ten, it had better be one who will disrupt
behind the line of scrimmage, not someone who'll be chasing running backs around on the wrong side of it.
I'm not saying that we should draft Mack, because I honestly don't watch college ball much, but I would love to see a Luke kuechly type of player on our front 7. If that's what they think Mack turns into, I hope they draft him.

our defense would certainly benefit. The Carolina defense as well as the Dallas defense are different animals with guys like keuchly and lee.

And that's the logic that would've kept Luke Keuchly off your team.
I'm still trying to figure out what an "Off Ball" Linebacker is.

He's excellent in coverage. Not exactly a 2-down thumper.
I would be shocked if Jack was the pick.

I love Jack, but I feel like it will not be him either. Feels like they're going to find a way to get Ramsey.
Jack would be my pick too but i also for some reason can't see them picking him.
If he can help our defense and be out there every down alongside Telvin, I think he's definitely in play. I'm curious how they would incorporate him. Guessing they would move him all over the place.
He played all over. Sam, Mike, Will, slot edge rusher, strong safety. I like him more and more
