I actually kind of like Bruno Mars, but I wish he would have actually been singing.  I'm sure there could have been lots of issues with audio and that's why they didn't do it, but its the Super Bowl!

The whole thing looked like a bad MC Hammer video to me, but ehhh, whatever.  I don't expect much from mainstream music these days. 

 

I thought Coldplay's first two stateside albums were pretty good (if a bit too pop for my taste) but the past 5 since then have been pretty lame. 

I definitely don't get the homosexual implication.  I have a friend that has worked closely with Chris Martin on a project or three and I can tell you that line of thinking is off base. 

That was one of the most boring, dumbest halftime show I'd ever seen and the most liberal.  Yuck.

At least Joe Satriani got paid last night.

Beyoncé had her own agenda going on for sure, but my reference to the rainbow stuff was about the ending of the show when the audience held up the cards that made a rainbow and spelled out "Believe in Love". I don't know how anyone got Coldplay is a gay band from that, but that is certainly not what I meant by it!

Being it was in San Fran. It was all about being gay. Yuck.

I've seen several reports about this.

 

I'm surprised the NFL allowed it.  Maybe they didn't put two and two together I don't know.

Her show probably got a little "tweaking" for the live performance...

One of the worst halftime shows in super bowl history. The NFL could have done better than that.

The music is clearly soft rock and his playing to the girls appears to be attempting to appeal to the hetero crowd. That, along with the decorations and the location make the intent pretty easy to read.

All members of Coldplay are, or have been, married and are fathers. They write and sing love songs. I don't know what you do to attract women, but it's been my experience that many women respond to things of this sort.
