I don't know what it is, but I am not sold on Ramsey. Everyone wants him here, but to play FS am I correct? I don't know but I don't see that ball hawk kind of FS out of the #5 spot you need. Guess time will tell. Perhaps the Jags sign a FS in FA and draft Ramsey to play corner?

The problem is there aren't enough free safeties to choose from. The Chiefs will do whatever it takes to re-sign Eric Berry. Jalen Ramsey is by far the easiest player to acquire to upgrade that position.

Tashaun Gipson would be a far better fit as our single-high safety and by all accounts, he is looking to get out of Cleveland. Dave reportedly had interest in him last year while he was a RFA and I fully expect him to be interested again this offseason.
If some how Mackensie Alexander does fall to us in round 2 I would be beyond happy at that.

I remember last year everybody on the board wanted Tashaun Gipson. I thought people were crazy to assume he would be easy to get as a RFA.
One thing to consider is the demand for him. If another team signs Gipson, Jalen Ramsey would not be a bad pick at 5.
