You can hate on Cam all you want because you don't like the way he plays the game and because of his cocky celebrations....but when you call him a "donkey of a human being" then that really shows what kind of [BLEEP] YOU really are.
Sadly, even when he does something good, his past antics make me question if he's only doing certain things because there's a camera in front of him. He's got a long way to go before anyone mistakes him for Warrick Dunn.
Arrogance should not be the leading trait of anyone who is being promoted as a role model.

I think people can tell the difference between showboating and genuine enthusiasm. But the camera will catch both and it is what it is. Nothing seems to be about the game anymore but about everything and everyone surrounding it.

What last antics are you specifically referring to?
Cam showed up unannounced - no cameras - no press -nothing but him and an ice cream truck. The mother didn't know he was coming. No one did. He stayed there for over an hour and spent time with Elijah on a Saturday evening when he could have been out doing anything he wanted to.
Elijah died two weeks later.
This guy can't win. When he dances and enjoys the game people like you call him a donkey. When he makes kids' dreams come true you say he does it for the camera.
Maybe you should try doing something for other people instead of hiding someone you don't know like a miserable person would.

That guy is so up tight on the Cam Newton thing it's crazy. It amazes me that someone gets so personally offended by it. People here absolutely trash Bortles unfairly on a weekly basis and I've never seen someone go to bat for him the way that guy does.
By the way, I saw video of a kid dab at a high school wrestling tournament after winning a match....he looked like an idiot.

No ....my opinion is that people who say he's a terrible human being for dancing and being cocky are ridiculous. I couldn't care less what they think about his antics. At least get it right if you're going to make it your personal crusade to reply to me every time I reply to someone else.

When he said this in 2011, I considered him to be brash and immature. Don't act like a ton of people didn't take issue with this comment just because he is in the Super Bowl now. You're right, I worded it incorrectly. My apologies. It was just one guys opinion....there have been some pretty bad things said about Bortles here from his own fans and people don't go to bat for him like you have for Cam.
