The only reason I can think of that he came out is because he doesn't like school work. He did not particularly stand out at the college level and could have used another year to bulk up and hone his craft. I get that he's the son of a former great, but I'm just not seeing it. At all. I have seen some people say we should take a late round flyer on him. I cannot imagine there would not be a better option in any of the first 7 rounds than him.
I'd take him in the 5th or 6th round. Nice change of pace RB

I think if his name was John Doe he would go undrafted. He will probably slip in somewhere between 5 and 7 in my opinion.
Yeah I can easily seeing him going undrafted. I bet he came out because of how ridiculously stacked next years RB class looks. I could see Taylor doing well in a 1 cut ZBS scheme.
I could see it.  Not very big and isnt unusually fast.

I think Taylor will be a better pro than he was a college player
He will get drafted. I'd be stunned if he didn't. Where depends on his 40 time.

if he runs a 4.3-4.4,he goes 2nd or 3rd.Slower than that,5th or so

There is no way he gets drafted in the top 3 rounds.

Careful. Your homerism is showing.
I dont think he gets drafted top 3 rounds either. 5'9.  Not overly explosive.  averaged only 4 yards a carry.  I would think you could find that in the later rounds pretty easily.

But who knows.  All it takes is one team to fall in love with a guy.

That's not overly farfetched considering the success that Matt Jones, and to a lesser extent Gillislee has had so far in their short careers. It's not too outlandish to think he could be even more successful.

True,But,but a great 40 at the combine may change things a little
I'm a Florida fan, and I don't think he's that great.

5-7th round if drafted.
6th round
Based on name alone, there is 0 chance he wont get drafted.

That's the attitude that had people wanting to draft Casey Matthews too early.

I still remember people wanted to draft him in the 2nd because of who he was related to.

Based on what he's done on the field he looks like a 6th round kind of player. I think Gillisle was a better prospect and he was a 5th rounder thats already been on 3 teams before he found any kind of success
I don't think its far fetched at all. The devaluation of the position plus Taylor's less than elite size/speed (unlike his dad) will prevent him from being a top guy. It wouldn't surprise me if he becomes a better pro than college guy though. Despite the lack of ideal size/speed, I watch him and I still see the agility/cutting ability that made Fred one of the greats.

He wont go undrafted, this is a weak RB draft, he has all the skillset you want in a RB, is he all world? No but he has the talent

remember Matt Jones went in like the 3rd round and was worth the pick, he didnt look like a good pro prospect at all at UF

I'd guess 6th or 7th without doing any research of any kind, but yeah, it's possible he goes undrafted.
