I actually like Myers and think he could be good next year if he learns to nail those PATs this offseason. That said, the team simply has to give him some competition for the spot. With that in mind, here are some FA Kickers to consider ranked in terms of FG percentage from last season...
1. Josh Brown, 36, Giants - 30 of 32 for 94%, 44 of 45 on PATs, long of 53 (made $1.4 mil last year)
2. Adam Vinatieri, 43, Colts - 25 of 27 for 93%, 32 of 35 on PATs, long of 55 (made $2.8 mil last year)
3. Phil Dawson, 40, 49ers - 24 of 27 for 89%, 20 of 21 on PATs, long of 54 (made $4.1 mil last year)
4. Mason Crosby, 31, Packers - 24 of 28 for 86%, 36 of 36 on PATs, long of 56 (made $3.6 mil last year)
5. Nick Novak, 34, Texans - 18 of 21 for 86%, 29 of 31 on PATs, long of 51 (signed to minimum contract)
6. Justin Tucker, 26, Ravens - 33 of 40 for 83%, 29 of 29 on PATs, long of 52 (made $2.4 mil last year)
For comparison sake...
Jason Myers, 24, Jaguars - 26 of 30 for 87%, 32 of 39 on PATs, long of 58 (signed to minimum contract)
