No way. There's a bunch of reasons why we won't draft a qb at 4, but even if we did, I can't see it being Watson. Give me Thomas, Fournette, Adams, Hooker, Howard, or even a guard at 4 over Watson.
Deeshawn watson at #4, thats crazy, hes got a bridgewater noodle arm.
You can't draft a QB who threw 49 mph at #4.

It's possible that im over thinking it, just trying to come up with some dark horses at 4. As it become clear to me that outside of a tradeback, we'll likely target a LB, TE, or QB at 4, given the pattern in free agency.
So will Watson drop to the 2nd round? If so, I think we should take a gamble
Quote:If anyone is the dark horse its OJ Howard
I like OJ, but he needs to be in an offense that uses the TE. We haven't used our TE's as a strength in years.

Has Doug Marrone offense historically not emphasized getting the ball to TE's?
Anyone but a running back at 4. I won't like a Watson pick, but anyone is better than Fournette.

He's my dark horse too. Good eye.
I have Barnett ranked higher than Allen or Thomas. I also have #57 (Williams I think) out of Alabama ranked pretty high too.

A guard at number 4 just ain't happening.

No, but better than Watson at 4.

I just don't see how you could say that. He won the national championship and he was the major factor in that game. Yes he threw 49 mph, I get that but a scout said that when he needed to, he could rip it. Velocity is not a problem. All of his throws are on point.
Most importantly, he doesn't need Tom House to keep him from dipping the ball at his ankles.
Winning a national championship means nothing. I don't see his accuracy on point at all. He seemed hit or miss. Not really an upgrade from Bortles, at least at that point

People sleeping on the Heisman! I believe a lot of will be shocked come the draft.

Kizer wasn't a winner!

I would like to know exactly how that was measured. Is there a drill at the Combine that just measures velocity? Do they tell the QBs, "ok guys, throw as hard as you can because we are going to post your MPH to all the scouts."?
Exactly how was this done?

Yeah I doubt they were like ok on this drill throw as hard as you can.
Watson and Pat Mahomes are the only 2 Franchise QBs in this draft

I know right! I heard there's this guy named Tim Taebo that was a huge winner too, I think we sign him!
