Have you seen Luke Joeckel play? Eugene Monroe is no world beater, but he has never given up 5 sacks in a game in his career. Monroe has been injured for the last two years. When healthy, he is an above average tackle. Joeckel has never had a dominant game.
I am a fan of Caldwell and like his plan. This I do have to agree was his worst blunder, assuming Monroe never said behind closed doors that he wouldn't re-sign with the Jags.

Monroe has sucked when he plays, which hasn't been that often because he's always hurt too.
Spending some time on the Ravens forum, you'd see that most of their fans aren't happy with Monroe at all. Many fans wish they could get rid of him somehow, but due to some kind of cap hit or contract deal (can't recall exactly which one), they are basically stuck with Monroe and are none too happy about it.
Whatever you think/remember what Monroe looked like here,, it is nothing like that in Baltimore. It has not been good.

IIRC, we used both of those Monroe picks to move up for both Allen Robinson and Brandon Linder. I'd take either one over Monroe right now, not to mention both of them.
