Quote:Tunsil, Bosa, Stanley, Jack or trade the heck out of there. I love Ramsey, but still a little high for him for me. Way too high for Hargreaves.
If I am sure about one thing, it is that we will once again screw up this pick. The only 1st round pick I was okay with over the last ten years was Monroe. Everything else has been a complete screw up. Either those 4 or trade back.
What games have you been watching while Blake Bortles broke team records and became one of the best NFL quarterbacks?

There will be several guys who will emerge into the top 10 as the offseason progresses. My ideal situation right now would be Myles Jack and then Karl Joseph in the second round.

That reminds me; what are the second and third round pick numbers?

There are three 5-11 teams so I'm guessing 7th and 6th.

Second, one of the best quarterbacks in the league? God, I hope you are kidding. How is a below 60% passer that leads the NFL in sacks and interceptions while posting one of the worst QBRs in the league one of the best?
Reminds me of a lot of my Gator friends. Think Bortles is the best QB ever while Jameis Winton sucks. Yet they have the same passing percentage. Bortles has a fourth more interceptions, a significantly lower QBR, hella lot more sacks. Not to mention the Jags have had either one LESS or one more win from the year before Bortles was drafted; yet, the Bucs have 3x the wins year one. Hmm lol

So the second round pick is #39 overall?

If I'm correct, I believe it would be technically #38 overall after deflategate.

QBR is a random number generator.

That's even better.

Trade back for more picks... this team is lacking talent and depth.
01-04-2016, 01:33 PM
Wait, we got a top 5 pick again? Well done Gus!

Quote:Unless Goff or Lynch are there, there will be no trade down opportunities.^ This is what I'm thinking as well.
If the Jags don't think a Safety or a LB holds enough value for a top 5 pick, other teams are likely to think the same. I don't see why anyone would trade up into the Jags spot unless one of those QBs is a guy that some team "just has to have." I don't see it happeneing.
But, it is the draft. So, you never know.

Quote:Unless Goff or Lynch are there, there will be no trade down opportunities.Thats not true at all, there are plenty of teams that trade up in the top 10 for other positions besides QB
Yes QB you can get the biggest haul, but teams trade up for other players
Julio Jones and Sammy Watkins to name a few

If I had to guess today, I would say Ramsey. If he works on his hands he could be dangerous for us.
01-04-2016, 02:37 PM
Ramsey right now

Sure hope the tacks don't want to strengthen their team with Derrick Henry... that sure would stink for our team that can't stop the run.
01-04-2016, 04:00 PM
Mackenzie Alexander.. I think he will bebetter than both VH3 and Ramsey
