Quote:Haven't seen it talked about much, I'm sure some of you saw it. I mentioned in another thread an article I read on PFT this morning, and it talks about the titans most likely retaining Mularkey. Here's an updated article from the same site

I could get on board with that. Any thoughts?
4 more years! 4 more years!
Quote:To be fair he's had 3 awful jobs in his head coaching career and an array of bad QBs. We are probably a little harsh on the guy.
nah, I think we got him right. He didn't have an awful job with the falcons that went 14-2 and then lost in the first round due to offensive problems with Julio Jones and Roddy White and still put up a gooseegg. The guy was gonna be fired before Gene 'handpicked' him.
TLDR - Yeah, no hes the suxorz
I was talking about head coaching gigs. Also Matt Ryan is a streaky qb, its not necessarily the coaches fault if he has a bad game.
Quote:It was mentioned right there in the posted article, in the 2nd paragraph.
You're expecting click through from someone who doesn't know how to use Google?

It was way too common, and the Falcon's knew it. As far as his record as a head coach...I think that speaks for itself at this point.
If the tacks keep Sucklarkey then they are doomed to having the 3rd best coach in the division.
LOL... Jags fans trash talking Mularkey, then realize we lost to him.
Mularkey isn't and never was as bad as advertised by some.

Yes it does. He has had 3 awful teams. Now I'm not saying he's a good coach, but he hasn't really wasted much talent either.
Looking more and more likely that we let him stay. I don't think fans are going to be happy, but the players really like him.

Wait,
Mike Mularkey? You're saying that the players like
MIKE Mularkey.

Very much so. Apparently he's let go of some of the nit picky stuff he was known for in Buffalo and Jax. A number of players have come out and expressed staunch support for him.

Wow. From what I can tell, Posluzsny and M. Lewis pretty much despised the guy. He must have pulled a Coughlin and turned over a leaf or something.

I think he realized you can't be a total hard [BLEEP]. Players won't respond positively.

I wish more coaches would come to this realization.
Does he still spend time at practice making sure his players line up for the national anthem correctly? Helmet under the left arm, dammit! THE LEFT ARM!

That's the kind of crap he's stopped doing.
Still love the headset throw down he did against Indy when the zebras were determined to call back every luck turnover.

My mistake was the play sheet. Throwing away magical plays for Gabbert to execute
This was about rock bottom for me as a fan. I think he may have thrown a headset first. He was embodying the fanbase.
