I'm beginning to think BB5 can make any WR look good. I'd be careful before paying a WR big money.

He's gonna make a ton of cash in the offseason, either way.
Linder, Smith, and both WRs.

You can't pay 2 guys like #1 receivers and sustain success in this league IMO. You pay Robinson when the time comes and hope to retain Hurns.

We have enough to pay all of em.
Arob is our clear number 1.

I'm so happy for Hurns and the season is having. Tough guy who works hard and loves playing, well done Hurns

If you haven't noticed, we need to address other areas, lol.
Don't get me wrong. I love AH, but don't want to see this franchise automatically go all in on anybody who has success.

I'm with you.
Hurns is an undrafted rookie that will definitely get a contract this offseason though.
It is 10000% guaranteed that he will get a long term deal.

Hopefully he gives us a discount for giving him a shot, lol.

I think his deal will be close to Eric Decker.

We can't pay him till after next year anyway
12-29-2015, 12:12 PM
No don't pay anyone yet. Jags biggest problem is they reward players after one season of production. Let him finish out that rookie contract

I'm seriously asking, so no need to get all sideways.
Why can't we pay him this offseason?

UDFAs are locked into a 3 year deal that can't be extended till after that year 3. Much like a first round pick can't get an extension till after year 4 (5 with the option)
That's what I've been told/heard by multiple places.
12-29-2015, 12:24 PM
The guys on 1010 said Hurns and Telvin will be getting paid.
I thought the NFL could rip up a contract at anytime.

In that spirit bb5 ar15 and burns will be eligible for a new contract in the same 2 year span. I see that as reason to continue to draft and develop WRs like Greene. Or if great talent falls to improve.

Just read this. It states undrafted guys can renegotiate after their 2nd year.
So Hurns will be getting paid.

Dont like it. Stay cheap, if he wants to get into a bidding war, trade him or let him walk.
