Quote:We need to beat them at their best anyway. We don't need to beat back ups to be a championship team.

If we can't beat their backups, what makes you think anything will drastically change with this regime when Luck/Foster get healthy and the Texans finally draft an adequate QB? You aren't helping your case at all with that argument.
Quote:Gus makes good players worse.

My favorite is the fans on here who get on Poz for being terrible against the pass, but who constantly puts a run stuffing LB on the field on 3rd and long??? He doesn't know how to use the talent he has. What happened to all the stunts and creative pass rushing from late in the 2013 campaign? It's maddening

Some of those players dont sniff the field
Quote:Gus has showed he can coach. He is still learning how to be a head coach.
hahahahaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa
Can't see us getting an easier schedule than this years ever again.

Certainly not. We should have been 6-0 within the division this year.

omg wat
I love this thread every year.....!

You enjoy that incredible performance against the texans, today, too?

Other than the Pats, what game should this team not've won? Never again will we get this mix of injuries and teams in down years as we have this year.
The stars really aligned for the team that lost its #1 draft pick for the season in April and got nothing from its best player in 2014.

Who was that?

Wahhhhhhhh!

This team had a cake walk to the playoffs and Bradley couldn't deliver. Today's game is indicative, this team couldn't beat a 5 win club to stay in the playoffs because they played flat and couldnt' defend Atlanta's 1! offensive player. Every week it's the same and that will not change until we change the leadership.

Marks, of course.
Quote:Let's put that aside for now. Caldwell has this team pointing with the arrow up. Gus has showed he can coach. He is still learning how to be a head coach.

We don't want to be one of those teams looking for a coach and all the headaches that comes with that.

I'm sorry but this is idiotic. He one of the worst coaches in nfl history and here you are defending him. If you want to lie to your self go right ahead but don't spew this bull as gospel. This young team could benefit from a good experienced head coach not some wanna b. Do you realize that he was just out coached by his former assistant today? Lol get outta here.
Quote:Somehow our offense sucked today. They need to work on being consistent this off-season, OTA's, and training camp.

You can't just have a "be consistent" drill.

The team will get there when they get better, which i think they will do after another off-season of development and acquisitions.

The more you think about it and and train yourself, you'll get there.

Allen Robinson

Allen Hurns

Julius Thomas

TJ Yeldon

Dennard Robinson

Brandon Linder

Rashad Greene

AJ Cann

TJ Yeldon

Luke quietly put together a solid year.

AROB had a memorable year for the ages. And he is still breaking records.

We found a beast for Guard in Cann.

And Blake Bortles has 31 passing TDS and 2 rushing TDS for a total of 33TDs. What a year. And we still have 2 games left. Those are Pro Bowl numbers.

Don't forget he came out of college a year early, and last year he took over for Henne. So this was his first full year. Next season he will be even better. The turnovers will go down. And he might throw 40 Touchdowns.

Yeldon probably gets 1000 yards rushing but he missed 2 games. He was able to get 1k from scrimmage.

We have an electric return man in Greene.

What a great season, even though we won't make the post season.

We have a great young offense.

Telvin Smith and Fowler will be great next year. Hopefully we draft a CB and a FS and Cyp can keep getting better. Poz led the team in tackles today and interceptions with a broke hand. He still has good years in front of him. House is our guy a CB2. Marks will be back to improve that line.

Caldwell will be heavily drafting defense, do help is on the way in 2016.

Next year, we will make the playoffs.
but is Gus still around? because if so.....

incompetent front office....NEVER FORGOT....the OT loss to Indy....we would've WON had we had a kicker. DAVE CALDWELL.....LOVES Myers for some reason...and THAT cost us a W.

We understand you hate Caldwell...most of us also observe and realize that he is a GM that is doing a good job and get's better each year.  He's not going anywhere nor should he.  Remember, he also drafted the Allens, and Linder, and got Thomas, etc.  you get my point.
