Quote:He's a career positional/OC. I don't think that changes now.

I agree
Quote:You could say the same about Hue Jackson. No doubt he deserves to be a head coach again.

Hue Jackson was terrible in Oakland. Do you think he will suddenly be a good head coach if offered the job somewhere else?

He was not.

Why do you keep avoiding the fact that it was pointed out we're 9th in PPG for the entire year after you tried to say how terrible that stat was for our team?

He went 8-8 and missed the division title by a hair. Keep trying.
I'm pretty sure Olson wants to stay here and recognizes Bortles is special
Quote:Do you know him personally to say this?

I don't think he would look for a HC job just yet. Maybe if he has a couple more years as a top OC he might.

Ahh no, I sure don't. But, the same way jerry Sullivan has been a WR coach his whole career, Olson has been an OC for about the last 11 years.

It seems like that's what he likes to do....after over a decade and I know I had never heard his name rumored for anything else.

That's my take anyway.
I mean its only OC Olson's first season back and he's made the Offense better with Marrone's help with the Line.

The QB Blake Bortles is about to surpass 4,000 passing yards this season, Allen Robinson already has 1k receiving & Allen Hurns needs only 93 yards to break 1k mark!  Blake will be only the 2nd QB in Jaguars history to pass 4k (other than Mark), and the last time the Jaguars had two WRs that passed 1k yards was so long ago I forgot (over a decade).
