That's why I said virtually.
Jaguars

Steelers

Bills

If we win, the Texans and colts both lose... we will be one game behind them with us playing the colts and the Texans playing the patriots in week 14... we can claw our way back in the play off race, these 2 weeks could get interesting

Gus needs to take advantage of the opportoonie and quit shooting himself in the foot

The Colts and Texans are 6-5. Both teams beat us earlier this season, so we we need to win out and hope they lose out.

A great coach leading the Jaguars current roster would have already sewn up the division by now. A good coach would be in a leading position. A bad coach would still have a shot at winning the division right now. With Gus at the helm the season was over before it even started.

Not true. We have a whole month left to get in the playoffs.

Jax will be tied with the Colts and Texans if Jags win next 2 games and Colts/Texans lose next 2 games.

Texans play: @Bills, vs Patriots

Colts play: @Steelers, @Jags

Obviously, the Jags have to win games, but it is not a win out/lose out situation yet.

If the Jags won out, they'd be 9-7.

If colts/Texans lose out, they'd be 6-10.

Of course, Colts and Texans still play each other, so at least one of those teams are guaranteed a minimum 7-9 record.
Both the Jaguars and Texans lost. That makes me 1-1 this week.

You picked them both to win. They both lost, so that means 0-2.

1-2 now because the Colts lost.
Funny thing is if we some how beat the Colts next week and the Texans loose to the Pats then suddely we are back in the picture for the division. We have to beat the colts though.

This week:  2-1

Overall:  24-17

Shaking my head in dismay.

Last week was brutal in that we lost and everyone we needed to lose wound up winning.

This week, two of the teams we needed to lose-Houston and Indy-lost.

Only we couldn't take advantage of a 5 TD-0 INT day by Bortles to beat a 2 win team.

AAAAARRRRRRGGGGGGGHHHHH!!!!

0-3 this week.   16-21 overall.

3-0 this week.

24-17 overall.

1-2 this week

18-19 overall

Jacksonville @ Tennessee - Let's just hope the team doesn't get any 'stupid' stuck on them from being in that stadium. Snide remarks aside, that Tennessee Defense is rather stout. And their Offense has a weapon to which our Defense seems particularly susceptible; a productive Tight End. I do feel like Jacksonville has a better roster and a better team in this matchup but this one does worry me. Still, they are coached by Mularkey and that can go a long way towards success! Jacksonville wins this one in Nash-Vegas.

This game reminds me of the Fred Taylor / St Louis game in 2005. How do you squander that great of a performance!?!? LOSS

Houston @ Buffalo - My Buffalo hatred from my Miami fandom days is showing here, but I am enjoying watching the Bills fail. I like Tyrod though, and I think he has a shot but the Houston Defense is playing well. They've held their last four opponents under 275 yards total! While it is in Buffalo, and I'm thinking that Houston is Offensively deficient, I'm going with the redheaded stepchildren known as the Texans to take this one.

For the life of me I can't figure out this Houston team. Who the hell are they?!?! LOSS

Indianapolis @ PIttsburgh - Why can't both of these teams lose this game?!?! Not so certain the Pittsburgh Defense is going to be as susceptible to Hasselbeck's Old Man Magic as everyone else, but I've been wrong before. Still, with Ben at the helm Pittsburgh is a tough out. The Squealer's pull this one off.

Finally, nailed one. WIN

Last week: 2 - 2

This week's picks:

Titans (ugh, #becausejaguars)

Steelers

Bills

This week 3-0

Overall 25-16

I just knew it was gonna be a #becausejaguars game. Tenn hadn't won at home all year. The last time they won at home was against the Jags. The only win they'll get at home thus year most likely will be,, yup, the Jags.

Completely #becausejaguars,, I just knew it. Ugh.

Jaguars @ Titans - My first instinct was that the Jaguars would lose this one.  However, I think that they address the red zone woes and pull off a road win.

Jaguars

Bills

Steelers

Sigh...  When will I ever learn to trust my instincts?

2-1 This week.

22-19 Overall

If the Texans lose? Come on, you know they will. Also, it is very likely we will beat the Colts. But it makes no difference without a winning record in the division.
