Quote:I don't know about that but WR Antonio Brown is probably the best WR in the NFL this year, can you imagine a team that has him Megatron (Calvin Johnson from the Lions), Larry Fitzgerald from the cardinals, Julian Edelman and Allen Robinson on it?

That would be fierce!
Who has better than the Steelers?

Brown

Bryant

Wheaton

Sammie Coates

Darrius Heyward Bey.

Beats any other receiver lineup in my eyes this year.

Packers with Jordi probably is the best.
From ProFootballFocus

Few people outside of Duval County would have predicted that the Jaguars would have one of the league’s best receiving corps in August. As it happens, that is exactly where the Jaguars sit with Allen Robinson (88.9), Allen Hurns (86.8), and Bryan Walters (80.3) all among our thirty highest-graded receivers after Week 11. Robinson leads the league in both deep ball catches (14) and deep ball receiving yards (462).

----------------

I would argue that Arizona Cardinals Larry Fitzgerald (ranked 5th in the NFL with 83 recs for 992 yards, 7 TDs), WR John Brown (ranked 26th in the NFL with 45 rec 704 yards, 4TDs), Michael Floyd, Jaron Brown

and then the Steelers and then I could see people argueing for the Jaguars because of the Allen Brothers.

Jo. Brown & Larry Fitzerald ranked 2nd & 3rd according to Football Outsiders in DYAR, DVOA (Jo. Brown is ranked 1st with Fitz ranked 10th), Floyd ranked 19th both with a catch rate over 70% (Floyd 58% which is still 8% higher than AR15).

I disagree. I believe we have the best message board of all the 32 NFL teams, but that's it at this point.

At least there's one thing where we are best.
I wouldn't say the best just yet. You'd have to look at the other teams that also have successful QB's yardage wise. Brady is getting it done this year with a revolving door. Rivers has also put up some ungodly numbers despite the lack of big name receivers. Palmer. Ryan and Brees round out the bottom three. Bortles falls inside the top ten at the nine spot. Prior to the injuries I'd say New England was number one between Edleman, Gronk, Amendola and the RB's being involved. They put up great numbers.

WR strictly though? I go with ARZ. Between what I've seen with Fitz, Brown and Floyd this year it's easy to see why Palmer is getting the job done. That trio of receivers to me is the best right now in the league. Duo wise? It's Hurns and Robinson by far. But we lack a third wheel really bad on this team. So I give that edge to ARZ.

Robinson is a pro bowler

Hurns is capable of being a pro bowler

Lee is a game breaker and would start on other teams

Greene has shown he is a special player and is going to make a great slot. He would start on other teams also.

Walters is not a starter, but he comes up with splash plays when his number is called.

As a whole unit, I'm not sure if we have the best but we have a great group and they are all young with the exception of Walters.
*We certainly have a good tandem in the Allens, and barring disastrous injuries, they should only get better.

*Lee on the other hand has had too many issues with injuries already; his lack of reliability makes him a liability instead. The old saying that 'reliability is the best ability' is really true.

*Green has shown 'flashes'... but he's also shown some down side.

*Walters has demonstrated that quality known as 'heart' more so than a whole lot of prior receivers who've played for us.

I think we have a good group of receivers, but the best overall? No. A lot of the high numbers being posted by the Allens is a by product of a lack of an efficient running game... much in the same way that MJD had a record year due to our inability to pass.

The boards themselves are awesome. Tech guys do a wonderful job giving the fans a place to litter with absolute awful nonsense with a few nice threads spread few and far between.

Good source of info when it isn't a being a source for headaches haha
