Kids a freshman and plays that well.. When he gets more experience, watch out..
Derwin James is, by far, the best true freshman right now. 77 total tackles, 3.5 sacks, 7.5 tackles for a loss, 3 passes broken up, numerous QB hurries, and 2 forced fumbles. All this and he has only started half the season.
He was the consensus top defensive back coming out of high school and has completely lived up to the billing. His overall grade among ALL safeties nationally currently ranks 4th. James is one of the best true freshman I have seen in a long, long time.
