1st rounder when he comes out and whichever team snags him, will be thanking themselves that they did for a good long time..


Kids a freshman and plays that well.. When he gets more experience, watch out..

Derwin James is, by far, the best true freshman right now. 77 total tackles, 3.5 sacks, 7.5 tackles for a loss, 3 passes broken up, numerous QB hurries, and 2 forced fumbles. All this and he has only started half the season.


He was the consensus top defensive back coming out of high school and has completely lived up to the billing. His overall grade among ALL safeties nationally currently ranks 4th. James is one of the best true freshman I have seen in a long, long time.

Was "arguing" with some guy at the Gate station on Dunn who was trying to say that he got beat like a drum all night

Cats a monster. He blew up Ufs RT Saturday like a 300 lb lineman would have. I mean picked him off his feet and threw him back. Kids impressive
