Quote:So, 2 hours behind=absolutely meaningless, but 3 hours behind=huge advantage/disadvantage, got it.

Hahaha was about to say the same thing
I would love to get a blow out win. I have my doubts still just because but I mean the match up looks greatly in our favor.

Jaguars are favored to win by 4.5 vegas odds...

Keep on winning, win, win, WIN!

so giving the 3 points for home...

it's basically a pick em game...

Two hours could be a challenge for Denver if the Broncos were bad. As it is, they can win almost anywhere, so the time difference has a minimal effect.

The story is different for Arizona, where there is no daylight savings time. It is sometimes two hours, other times three hours if I understand it correctly.

Don't you just love being the favorite for a change? Not by much, but that is better than a pick 'em game last week.
Latest Odds I saw at Jax at +4

We'll find a way to make it close.  I just hope we can get the W when it's all said and done.  I think we'll win by 3 points.

I hope Blake throws more than one touchdown pass.

why do you complain about blake all the time?

I don't. That is not a complaint about Blake. In fact he is one of my favorite Jaguars.

If you're going to criticize grammer, you missed "my double digits"! LOL!

My official prediction is that he'll throw 2 TDs and 1 INT.

Quote:Seattle lost here on opening day 2005, that's the last time I remember a west coast team really struggling here. Those guys just melted in the second half.
I remember that game as well. There was a fumble on the opening kickoff, and I remember it being like 95 degrees outside with our famous Florida humidity. For a team like Seattle that is used to playing in the rain- and with cool temperatures over in the Pacific Northwest, that must have felt like an oven. I remember that Jimmy Smith had a HUGE game that day as well.

They even struggled last year against San Diego in similar conditions. Maybe that is Seattle's weakness.

Quote:This is honestly the first game where I feel we should win handily.

Their OLine is garbage. They have injuries at every level on offense and defense. No speed on the outside for WRs. Rivers is really solid but his WRs get no seperation.

They're traveling to the east coast after a division game and we seem to be riding a good little wave here.
They don't need to get separation...the Jags secondary gives a big enough cushion that any 90 year old woman can catch the ball 25 yards downfield before there is any danger of being tackled

WR Malcolm Floyd is back practicing after being out for several weeks with a shoulder problem.
This will be our 5th time in the last 6 years playing San Diego I believe. Funny how that works out. We lost the other 4. Maybe things will be different this time around.

Last year was Blake Bortes' first career start and in San Diego, so I expected us to lose. Now I am more confident it will not be a blowout.
Have I overlooked it or is there no prediction thread?

Jags 42- Bolts 10. ..............Boom.

I think we'll win but we have a habit of losing the games we should theoretically win.  But we have been winning games lately that perhaps we should have lost so I'll go with the double negative and say we probably won't not win this game. Go Jag!
