Reduce taxation and regulation on business, and watch them flourish and provide jobs. Those jobs provide income and taxation in other areas which more than makes up for the tax breaks to those corporations that are the lifeblood of the economy. The biggest caveat here is that these are REAL jobs. Not some 25 hour a week job that is fit for a high schooler, but has been forced upon professionals for the past few years for lack of any real opportunity.

It's no surprise that things are looking up. People can actually get a career and a good life, as opposed to a government handout and perpetual poverty.

The USA has the HIGHEST Corporate Taxes in the G20. Like Dakota said, reduce taxes and regulation and watch a real Boom happen.

We want U6!  We want U6!

U2 went out of style years ago and Bono sucks.

Not an answer.

If calling my career fake helps you sleep better than fine but ...At least my research and my career path are aimed at improving the health and safety of the public when it comes to pathogens and antimicrobial resistance. What exactly are you contributing to society?

Automate automate automate!!

Why is it automatically assumed slashing regulations and taxes will cause employers to hire more?

Growth drives a need for employees. Employees have money to spend. Money to spend drives growth.

Less taxes also equals less expenditure equals less jobs too

Is that why every time I go in Walmart there is a new self check out lane? Growth means finding new ways to reduce overhead. Less workers, same quality equals cheaper expenditures and more net profits.

Even assumptions are automated.

A little non-partisan humor to bring some levity into this thread.

(ahem) never mind

More money to spend drives the preference for quality over cost, especially in the retail market.

Dont worry about government expenditures, the Pork Kings will always find money to spend on their cronies.

I think that is more a case of machines replacing the jobs of people who make $7.25 and hour but want $15 an hour.

On a side note, do you agree with Bill Gates wanting a robot tax?
