Well.. he won...... and again.. we didn't

Not saying he was the answer... but i remember seeing him put like 40 on Tampa one year in preseason and it was IMPRESSIVE..

Maybe Del Rio was HIS problem....?

Jeezus our coaches have sucked azz for as long as I can remember..

Did i mention Gabbert won?

Shouldnt this be in the NFL, and not jaguars section just saying...

Well.. won where kapernick couldn't..

..Just sayin.

Coaching?

You remember seeing him put up 40 on Tampa in one pre-season?  Your memory must be really faulty then because he never even faced Tampa in the pre-season in the three years he was here.

In his first pre-season (2011) the Jags only scored more than 21 points ONCE.  In which Gabbert only scored one touchdown.

In his second pre-season (2012) Gabbert had only one game with multiple touchdown passes.  It was 2, and it was against the Saints.

In his third and final pre-season (2013) Gabbert only had ONE touchdown the entire pre-season.

The only time he played the Buccaneers, the Jags did indeed put up 40 points.  He only scored 14 of them, and it was far from impressive.

Gabbert nearly cost the 49ers the game today and couldn't even throw for 200 yards.  And he did it against a flailing Falcons team.

I'm betting you worship at the altar of Tebow and think that wins are a QB stat.

[BLEEP]... I went to the game... we won tickets... it poured down all day... maybe it wasnt pre-season but it felt like it... maybe it was 35 pts, I dunno... but it was awesome.. and it.. did.. happen.
Gabbert was probably one of the worst QBs that ever played as a Jaguar... i mean he made Chad Henne look good... so good luck!

I am glad someone isn't going full [BLEEP] around here, and I agree. But in fairness this game was an improvement from where he was with us tho. He didn't take a sack, 7.4 YPA, 60% completion. I am sure he still played scared with lots of dump offs. You don't fix the Gabbs, the problem is and will always be upstairs. I am sure with a larger sample size all the prior characteristics we know and love will come back with a vengeance.

This team has no regrets moving on from Blaine to Bortles.
yeah.... no regerts....

So?

lol, I guess you were eating a snickers bar.
The 49ers are running the ball allowing Gabbert to throw as little as possible, and when he does throw it's been a quick read and release. He's always been at his best doing that, and just like with us some of his throws were still off. Once he has to actually move around in the pocket with the ball in his hands, the 49ers will quickly learn what we learned the hard way.

My IQ went down substantially from reading this.
It just adds insult to injury though.

49er's win with our old worm burner.......tacks win with our old coach.......clots beat the broncos.

And we beat ourselves.

This from http://www.usatoday.com/story/sports/nfl.../75433138/ says it all.

"32. Why the Jaguars are the Jaguars: Down 21-16, but driving in the fourth quarter, they fumble. After the defense holds the Jets, they fumble the punt return. Next play: Jets score a touchdown to put the game away."

I've been a fan from the start in '95.....but I am starting to believe we're cursed.

So many let downs.

Good point.....do they have any left?
What an idiotic thread.

Gabbert won. Mularkey won. Luck beat the undefeated Broncos. I faced Antonio Brown in fantasy. Awful weekend
