Hi, Jaguars fans!   Smile   Our third place, and 2-5 Jacksonville Jaguars, fresh after a well-earned bye week after their 34-31 win at Wembley Stadium in London two weeks ago, return back to NFL game action, as they are up the Atlantic Coast to play the 4-3 New York Jets in both teams 12th all-time regular season meeting this afternoon.  N.Y. Jets lost their road game to the Oakland Raiders 34-20 last Sunday.

Jaguars will also try to win consecutive regular season games in two years, since Jacksonville swept the Houston 13-6, and 27-20, with a Cleveland Browns 32-28 road victory between the Texans games, between November 24 and December 5, 2013.

Jaguars seek to win their first road game at the Jets for the first time in six years.  Jacksonville has won at the Jets three times at the Jets - in 1999 and 2005.  Jaguars kicker Josh Scobee kicked a 21-yard field goal as time expired in regulation, to help the Jaguars edge the N.Y. Jets 24-22 in the last road win, played  at Giants Stadium in New Jersey, back on November 15, 2009.

N.Y. Jets though has won the last two regular season meetings with a combined score of 49-13.   Jets running back Bilal Powell scored the game clincher with 12:20 remaining in the fourth quarter, to give New York their win over Jacksonville in both teams last regular season meeting played back on December 9, 2012.

Jets currently own a 4-3 home record over our Jaguars during the regular season, but Jacksonville also currently leads the all-time series after 11 games with a 6-5 record, a rivalry that began when the New York Jets won the first regular season game of the rivalry 27-10 at Giants Stadium in the Jaguars inaugural season in the NFL back in 1995, but Jacksonville later won their first regular season game over the New York Jets the following season 21-17, at then named Jacksonville Municipal Stadium back on October 13, 1996.

Greg Gumbel, and former Rams, Chiefs, and NFL quarterback Trent Green, along with field/sideline reporter and interviewer Jamie Erdahl, are announcing the live TV game commentary for The NFL On CBS, seen regionally, and locally on WJAX-TV CBS Channel 47, all stations seen live on HD.

Frank Frangie, and former Jaguars players Jeff Lageman and Tony Boselli, are also announcing the live radio game play-by-play and analysis, simulcast live on Jaguars flagship stations WJXL Jax Sports 1010AM and 92.5FM, and WGME Gator Country 99.9FM, and the Jaguars Radio Network throughout Northern Florida and The Panhandle, and Southern Georgia.

Visiting Jaguars are wearing their white jerseys and black pants. while the host New York Jets are wearing the kelly green jerseys, and white pants.

Sunny and clear skies at 55 degrees, feels like 53 degrees, is the local forecast inside MetLife Stadium, for the 1:05PM Eastern Standard Time kickoff, along with 0% precipitation, 40% humidity, and mild northwest winds at 8 miles per hour.

Both the Jaguars and the N.Y. Jets, and all NFL teams, along their coaching and team support staffs, are voluntarily participating throughout November the NFL's 'Salute To Service' campaign, by wearing authentic camoflaged NFL apparel in game action league wide, both on the playing field, and in their sidelines, to both honor Miltary Appreciation Month, and recognize our active and retired US military personnel.

NO injuries, go for win # 3 in 2015, and GO JAGUARS!!!!!   :woot:   B)  Smile   ^_^

Go jags!
The bye came at a good time. We needed a break from Gus and time to realize how bad teams like the 49ers, Lions, Titans, and Colts are

Yeah. We're bad because of poorly excuted playing and bad defense talent..... they are bad for much worse of a situation.
Let's get this win and lead the division at the halfway point.

I will not read all of that.
I just want to win the division. Just once.

Let's keep it within 30, boys.
Several ugly streaks would continue with another loss, so it's time to end all that. Jaguars are more than due a win.

we win by 21

i said it

It feels like forever since we've had some Jay-gwires football. Hopefully Gus can find a Dairy Queen in the big city after the game.

There is a reason why there is a place called Queens in New York.

Witness sounds so... evil..... lets use the term...."experience" in place of "witness"... since it's all about... "the Jaguar experience"
Thanks for putting all the info in one spot.

We look the healthiest we've been in a long time and rested after the bye.

and looking at all the dumpster fires burning around us, our Jaguars don't look that bad.

Com'on guys!

Hopefully BB5 will keep our D on the bench and fresh.

We need to rip the jets a new one.

GO JAGS!
