He couldn't even beat out Marquise Williams. Started 13 games and went 8-5, no thank you. He's only getting top 10 consideration for one reason.

No.

I'd literally prefer Deshaun Watson at 4 over Fournette. I'd even take O.J. Howard over Fournette, although I know that's not likely to be agreed upon much.
I'm ok with Thomas or Allen, but I'll be a bit naturally upset if we end up with a safety or RB at 4. I'd rather take a chance on the QB. Blake's mechanics are never gonna be what they need to be.

I don't think it needs to be said, but "better than RB at 4" is not even close to an endorsement of QB at 4 either.

Not being an jerk, just asking.

Hmm. OJ Howard at 4? I'm not sure if I'd be mad about it. Just doesn't seem like good value. I don't think a TE has ever been taken Top 5.

I'd be very upset with a TE at 4. This draft is loaded at TE and RB. Don't take either one at 4.

I'll admit that I don't watch much college ball. This is more about me wanting a QB than it is about Trubisky. I should've been more clear.

I honestly hope we aren't picking at 4. Trade back please.

We need Sam Darnold. The only way we can get him is getting the #1 pick, because any team picking first next year that needs a QB would be insane to trade out of that spot. The best way to get the #1 pick is to let Biff Bortles throw wobblers and pick 6s like he always does for one more year.

IMO, Adams is head and shoulders above any QB prospect in this draft. Given the need at SS for the moment, he'd be a great pick.

This I'll definitely agree with. Basically, I think if we stay at 4 the value is going to be muddied regardless. Allen has injury issues and Garrett will be gone. There's no way to tell the future, but aside from Solomon Thomas or a potential signal caller, I don't think there's going to be a value pick for us like we had last year with Ramsey.
He'll idk, I just don't believe in Blake at all, and I think we're gonna win enough games-despite him-to screw up our chances at getting another QB in the top 5.
I do understand it would be a mistake to force a QB, but if the browns are allegedly discussing Trubisky at 1, the Jags should be discussing him at 4.
Definitely rather have any QB over any available RB or safety in the 1st round, even if it's a total crap shoot.
Solomon Thomas would be my choice if no QB. Fwiw.

You're good people, I know you're not ripping me, and I know this isn't popular opinion.
I personally would rather they gamble on any of the QBs that are deemed potential franchise guys over Adams. That's how little I think of Blake's chances and how important the QB position is to me. I'd be very upset if they draft any RB or S without trading back.
Honestly, I'm off the John Allen bandwagon after his combine and medical issues. Aside from Thomas, I don't think anyone is going to scream value at 4. That being the case, give me the QB. I think one of them could flourish with a year to learn here.
03-06-2017, 01:00 PM
I still feel like the best possible qb solution would be Mahones falling to #35.
03-06-2017, 01:05 PM
I'd rather trade down and try and pick up an additonal 1st for next year.
