Before the season started, I thought I would not miss NFL Network because TNF games were also shown live on NFL.com's homepage. Now the Browns and Bengals are playing, but I can't find the game on that website anywhere. It is airing exclusively on NFLN, which I don't get anymore because of the higher prices for cable TV in Gainesville. (You have to buy the sports package to get it here.) So when we play on TNF I will not be able to watch our game, which is winnable because the Titans suck. If the NFL thinks everybody can pay for very expensive cable or satellite packages, they need to research provider monopolies and how much football fans can afford because I have no choice and there are many more important things to buy than rarely-watched TV channels.
Of course I know posting links to live TV streaming from any other website is not allowed here, but does anyone know if such a website can be found on Google that shows TNF games?
type in first row sports and click on the football section tomorrow night.it will have good links for the game there.

Can't you watch it on a local station? I thought Gainesville was in the local broadcast area?

During the second half of the season, games are not broadcast on CBS. Tomorrow will be the first time only NFLN shows a TNF game. That is in the TV contract.

In Jacksonville we get the Jag Thursday night games on Channel 4 in addition to NFLN. It's in the contract that the local viewing area has to get a non-cable option for games that aren't blacked out.

Is Gainesville included?

Yes, Gainesville is part of the Jacksonville viewing area. If you get channel 4, you will see the TNF game.
I was more peeved about the Yahoo streaming only game. I'm blessed to have access to Sunday Ticket and way to go NFL for devaluing the contracts. Thankfully I do have the right packages but I do understand the frustration with the way the NFL is socking it to fans.
Get your cat loving [BLEEP] in a car and drive to the stadium. You ain't in Ohio anymore. You're welcome.
Quote:Go to a bar.
Oh boy, JW in a bar, just oh boy.
Find a friend who has the NFLN, and bring a little something over and watch the game with them.
And when I say bring something over, I'm not talking about a cat, but some kind of food and beverage.

Get Chinese take out and you cover both.

You almost owe me a new keyboard.

I was livid about that one. Yahoo should know not all football fans have Internet access at the time of the game or a good connection on their computers. In fact today I had to get a new modem because my Internet was not working.
Another issue is only DirecTV is allowed to carry NFL Sunday Ticket. What about all those people like me who can't have satellites?

Only in Jacksonville and Buffalo. I was in Washington, DC that morning.

Very nicely done.

Yeah, that was complete crap. Stream it all you want, but don't take it away from people that actually pay for it. And to top it off, it's on Yahoo. Maybe next year they'll give it to AOL.

Right, why watch shows and live performances on small mobile devices when you have a 42-inch television? No brainer there which one is more fun to watch - the one with a big picture, of course.
