Quote:Highly unlikely. Never thought I'd see someone bang the table for Whisenhunt.

As an OC? Absolutely bring him in here. Hell, while we're at it there is an outside shot that LeBeau will be available and I would love having that guy prowling the sidelines in Duval. Now, either one of those guys as a Header? Nah mayn, I'm gud.

Lebeau is way too old and idk about changing OCs again right now. Bortles seems to be improving well under Olson.

The defense is the issue, coaching and no pass rush...

I wasn't speaking specifically to replacing Olsen, just that I wouldn't mind having Wiz on the staff for his contributions to the brainstorming sessions alone. As for LeBeau, Jerry Sullivan is getting up there in years and he's still rather effective. If Richard wants some time at the Beach and coach up a little football while he's at it, I'd be more than happy to let him do it here.
Quote:Nope - fired. Doug Marrone quit.

What Olson has done with Bortles is, by itself, enough to justify keeping him around--assuming Gus stays, too.
Quote:4-31. Probably the worst 35 game stretch of any coach in history I would guess. Yeah, hire that dude.

It's said that your record is who you are. But in Wisenhunt's case, I don't think he's as bad as that record reflects.

I'm not going to bang the table for him here, but I still like the guy. In some situations there's just no salvage. You just have to move on to a different situation.

Dude, she - I'm not certain if you're aware of this or not but the person who made the announcement / decision was Amy Adams-Strunk, a confirmed female so machismo isn't really an issue here - thought that Mularkey (Mike freakin' Mularkey!!!) was an upgrade!

Not quite certain if you're using the correct term there.

Obviously he meant Khan doesn't have the ovaries to make a decision like this. Lol that was a complete fail.

Hey, when you get an opportunity to call into question the manhood of a self-made billionaire, you gotta take your shot regardless of how completely misguided it is or the fact that it will make you look petty and spiteful. AmIrite?!
Quote:All of the coaches who were fired after losing to Gus, of course. That list includes Gary Kubiak, who was fired the day after losing in Jacksonville.

Jacksonville, the 3rd rail of football life. Lose to it and die.

People who rant and rave normally don't look very intelligent. This happens to be another great example.
The funny thing here is that Whisenhunt got fired before he even had a chance to lose to the Jags. That kind of bucks the trend here. Normally teams fire them AFTER they've lost to Jacksonville.

Has a team ever fired an interim head coach for being an even bigger failure? MM will get to face his former team twice in less than 3 weeks. Lose both of those? Maybe we can keep the trend alive.

Quote:You couldn't even hold Khan's cojones with both of your hands.

What position were you in when you measured?
