Put in Squiadward, suck on my bird
I can't wait to watch this. A part of me wants him to play well, but I think that's just the part that always hoped he'd turn it around here lol
We now have a reason to watch the 49ers

Mike1989

It will be interesting to see how he does, so good luck to him. Just hope he doesn't become Steve Young II, a QB that washed out at his first team, and became a HOF at his second one. If that happens, and Bortles wavers, "the jungle" will go into meltdown!

That's okay. We are pretty self-aware of our emotional shortcomings as it is.

Is tank mode in effect?
they want the top pick in the darft I see.

LOL.  I am thinking the same thing.  Wouldn't that be ironic.
Wow!!! Just Wow!!!!

With the Falcons at the Blaine Gabbert lead 49ers at 4:05 and the Broncos at the clots at 4:25, and both being shown in my area, what a 2nd half of a double-header of NFL we have in store this Sunday.

Come on Sunday, get here already.

Now if the Jags can just pull out a win against the reeling Jets at 1pm.

So Gabbert is starting a football game and Mularkey is a Head Coach again! Maybe this is what we need to cleanse the curse of Gene Smith!

SF scored 3, and 6 points the last two weeks.  How much more of a downgrade will it be?  They'll now score 0 points?  Most SF fans are well aware that Gabbert is a piece of junk.  But everyone is acting like they're giving up on a pro bowler for him.  They're not.  Gabbert may be the worst in the league, but Kaep is right behind (or in front of) him.

I didn't think players were allowed to smoke on the sideline.
I for one hope he does well.  Good kid, just wasn't a very good ball player.  Maybe he'll go Alex Smith on us.  Probably not, but hey, good luck sunshine.

Hope he does well.

I seriously doubt it though.
This is going to be fun!

...and Pagano said the colts need to "keep chopping wood" in his presser.

Strange things are afoot at the Circle K.

Quick! Someone get a live chicken and a voodoo doll.
Quote:Tomsula should have never taken this job. Cause he will be the next guy to fall.
Wasn't he their fourth or fifth choice anyway? It was clear from his first press conference that Tomsula is in over his head, perhaps even more so than Bradley. The fact that the 49ers appear to be in full-on tank mode less than halfway into his first season suggests that he's gone. I never really got the impression that Tomsula was a long-term guy, more of a sacrificial lamb to oversee the dismantling before a more qualified coach stepped in to build the team back up.

I highly doubt that the GM is safe, either. My guess is that Tomsula is fired at the end of the season and ownership ends up hiring a big-name coach currently out of the league, then giving him full control over the roster, free agency and the draft at Trent Baalke's expense.
Hahahhahahahahahhahaahahahaahahahaahhahahahahahahhahahahhahahahahahaahahahahahahahaahaahaahahahahaha
I wish we played the niners this year.

What a sight!
