A few weeks ago I started thinking because TravC59 starts a Games of Interest thread every week in the College Football forum, NFL At Large should have the same thing. I decided to start now because with the Jaguars off this week, we all have to watch other teams play instead. Let me know if you want me to continue doing it the rest of the season after the Monday night game is over.

There are four byes in Week 8: the Buffalo Bills, Jacksonville Jaguars, Philadelphia Eagles, and Washington Redskins.
You forgot about Tennessee @ Houston.
I personally don't care about NFC match ups. I'm rooting for Bills and Jags. The only way I see both making the playoffs is for the Jags to win the AFCS and the Bills get a WC birth.
So I'm hoping New England, Detroit, Arizona, Baltimore, Cincinnati, Oakland, Carolina and Tennessee win this week.
My upset pick is Miami over New England

Now that is a bold pick, going with the Dolphins winning at the Pats.
I know the Dolphins have looked really good the last 2 weeks, but still, that's a bold pick.

Patriots have this knack of showing everyone who they really are. If the dolphins are in it in the 4th, they probably belong.

Everyone has been saying the Patriots are invincible this season. I am not sure it will be fun to watch for Dolphins fans.
Of course, in that one I am rooting for Miami. I hate the Patriots.

Good D Line, Suh's seemed to pick it up and will be motivated for this game. Phins got a good physical secondary to match with NE. Their offense has been on fire and could hang with the Pats in a shootout. As long as they hit brady a few times early I think they could do it.

Playing good defense is the opposite of a shootout unless you are talking about turnovers that turn into points. How good is Miami in that department?
Miami's offense is good, but not great. The Dolphins can't score on every drive to keep up with Tom Brady and Company.
They do this all the time. Pats seem to not dominate Jets. Miami blows out a weak team before this game and you are supposed to think there's a chance. It's a short week, the games in New England. Miami is going to get clobbered
PATS win,Miami covers and it will be under 51 points

Also don't forget the Bills dominated the Colts, but could not even beat the Jaguars, who got blown out by the Texans. What does that tell you about the Bills? Absolutely nothing.
So where the Dolphins are concerned, do we know for sure they will get blown out at New England? Of course not, but the probability is very high IMO.

Not too sure about their turnover ratio. I think they have a good enough defense to get some stops, but if its a shootout which is very possible i think Miami can tango.
Moving on to the next game . . . Will anybody get up early for another London game or record it to watch later? I will definitely sleep in late and wait for the Bengals/Steelers game at 1:00. Watching a 9:30 game is bad for fans like me no matter is is playing in London.
The games I can watch are:
Miami at New England (Go Dolphins!)
Cincinnati at Pittsburgh (Go Steelers!)
Seattle at Dallas (GO SEAHAWKS!)
Green Bay at Denver (Winner does not matter)

I Say they cover but lose

To me I think the most entertaining game is going to be the Miami Dolphins vs Patriots on Thursday, I think the Dolphins might upset the Pats...
then the 2nd most entertaining game again during prime time, Packers vs Broncos one team will no longer be undefeated this season.. i was going to say that is the most entertaining but since I predict and upset that is why i am putting the Dolphins game ahead of Broncos.
The Monday Night game will be fun to watch the Panthers defeat the Clots! The Titans & Texans game would be the most boring but being a Jaguars fan it might be fun to watch the two go at it.

I would love to watch the panthers eat horse meat. From what I have seen so far, they have a good chance of chomping in. Now remember jaguars and panthers are closely related in the wild So we should root for the Panthers anyway.

The most exciting game for me is Packers at Broncos Sunday night. People have been talking the defense being what keeps Denver undefeated. That defense has not met Aaron Rodgers yet.

Packers haven't played anyone either really

I never said the Broncos have not played anybody. Where did you get that from?
Also, Green Bay has a good offense that does not need help from the defense to win games.
