So what exactly is so wrong with the way I post? Because I cite objective information to back up my reasoning? My pea-sized brain just cannot grasp it.

This response is a perfect example of you completely missing the concept that was just presented.

Right, because I'm the one insulting people for having a different opinion. What concept do you think you presented?
Just spotted JT at the bank. He was depositing a giant bag of rocdeed's and baconators cash while laughing hysterically.

Anyway..he said he would be fine and ready to go come Jets time.

You're being insulted for being a troll.

Try to keep up.

"I don't like...."

is forming an opinion in a negative stance

nothing wrong with it really......

but few posters post in such a fashion of "I dont like because"

it is more to the tune of "dude trash, he suck, another caldwell bust"

fine line... but you trollers are either ignorantly and unexpectedly trolling....

OR

purposefully posting in such a manner, over and over in many threads, new threads, retreads of old threads, and all the like....

feel free to defend your stance by posting proof to the contrary.

I think you're confused about the concept 'trolling'. You cannot be a troll and not realize you're doing it, a key component of that concept is the intention of getting a rise out of posters. Regardless, how has anything I posted in the thread trolling? Sounds like you're just trying to default to the notion that disagreeing with majoring opinion is the same as trolling, therefore we don't need to rationally consider the dissenting opinion, we can just laugh and insult them to disprove their point. In reality, it is the proponents of that line of reasoning that are the trolls.

Don't need to add in snide 'keep up' comments when you can barely sort out your own line of reasoning.

Spin cycle 100%

I explained the difference in trolling and just "going against the grain". You fail.

I do like snide comments.. I'm a snide fellow.

So we're trolls for calling out trolls?

Interesting.

And, I know you can't troll unknowingly..... which is why I worded it that way. Whoosh. My bad.

Is this really that hard for you to keep up? Haha, wow.
Quote:That is how any form of dissenting opinion is met with on these boards. I have posters following me into every thread I make and continue to just hurl insults at me anytime I post, the mods have done nothing about that. For the record, I agree that JT will be another free agent bust. The guy was so obviously a product of playing with Manning in that offense, and he now seems to be riding the gravy train (literally) since he got paid. Just another player that doesn't care about the game and only the paycheck. There is no pressure on him to meet expectations because the standard of success for this franchise is so low and he already got his money.
Please provide some rational thoughts as to how you have formed the above indicated opinion. I cannot imagine how there is any rational explanation for your opinion. I'm curious as what you have seen that could possibly lead to such an irrational take.
Quote:He got paid. Hes here on vacation.

Sounds like another FA we know.

Aaron Ross?

We are halfway through the season, and JT has barely made it on the field. Sure, injuries happen, but they are also much more likely to happen when you show up fat and out of shape. The guy has had a history of character concerns, particularly about his commitment to football. That seems to be consistent with the fact that he turned down a deal with the Broncos because it was filled with incentive based conditions, and chose to leave his best chance for success playing for a contender to take more guaranteed money to play for one of the worst teams in the NFL. Competitive players in their prime do not leave the best opportunity to win because they are worried they won't be able to prove their worth on a consistent basis. So what does he do? Takes a whole lot of guaranteed money and show up fat and out of shape for a team out of the media's eye where he can fade into obscurity.

But what about when he has been on the field? His production has been average and no where near the elite playmaker he was paid to be. His numbers (rates) are down across the board. Either way you slice it, he has been a major bust thus far.

That would be the bum...I mean one

Alright man, that's an explanation. I would need to see some evidence to just about all those claims to consider them rational. Not to mention it he only missed five games.
Quick Google search turned up this about him.

According to one source close to the situation, “Julius Thomas plays football because he can but not because he has to. He has no long term aspirations for it and is not looking to make a lengthy career out of it.”

According to my source Julius Thomas was offered a contract that would pay him eight million dollars per year and he turned it down. This was at the beginning of the season before Thomas sat out for minor injuries and had his toughness questioned by an entire city. Things have drastically changed since then.

If you were wondering, eight million dollars per year would pay him only one million less than Rob Gronkowski’s average salary and two million less than Jimmy Graham’s.

“Julius is here to get his money and get out,” one teammate told me last week. “That’s just how some guys are. He didn’t grow up playing this game and it’s just not in his DNA to put it all out there.” When asked if Julius Thomas was soft like some say, he said, ” where there’s smoke, there’s fire.” According to the teammate, Julius Thomas was healthy enough to play multiple times last season but refused to. In one instance Julius Thomas was heard saying, “I’m about 90% – I’m getting close.”

To most NFL players, 90% is as good as new. Most can’t fathom the idea of sitting out at 90%. We would eventually find out that Peyton Manning, at 38 years old, played with a torn quad. To think that Julius Thomas put himself before the team, angered some players. “You have guys taking shots just to get through the half and this dude can’t even play with a minor sprain” one teammate told me. “You can’t win with guys like that,” he added.

Julius Thomas missed 28 total games in his first four years and a report like this may explain some of the reasoning behind it. 2014 brought more of the same. He sprained his ankle early in the Rams game in week 11 and after sitting out the next three games, never returned to form. In the final eight games of the 2014 season, he registered just 66 total receiving yards.

I really hope that's not his mentality. If it is, of course he would come to this team.

That is a pretty damning write up, anonymous, but damning. I suppose time will tell if any of it's true. That does not change the fact that what he will be here must be the same. Even if true.
That juggling catch he made last week, was proof he's still got it. If you're going to cut anyone, cut Lewis... Does he even dress for games anymore?

Not often I agree with you. This is one of those times.
