Quote:this live stream is pretty cool. definitely an advocate of it and glad yahoo did it
It had a lot of episodes where there was low resolution, and a few repeats of what was shown a few seconds earlier. I'm not sure if my connection was the problem, whether it was Yahoo being overwhelmed, or just poor broadcast tech.

I watched it on my iPhone and didn't have too many issues. Every now and then the stream would reset or the quality would get really bad for a second or so, but thats about it.

That is one reason I hate the Jaguars going to London every year - the 9:30 kickoff. It probably is going to stay that way as long as we play there. Who wants to wake up early for a football game?
I could not watch it because I was on vacation, but did learn at Reagan National Airport we won 34-31 while watching part of a 1:00 game.

I liked the live stream through my amazon firetv stick. But did not enjoy the 6:30 am game.

Yeah, me too. Horrible idea by the NFL. Instead of watching it on my 65" TV, I had to watch it on a tablet, with the problems you mentioned. It sucked and was a stupid idea.

I didnt really like it. I cant rewatch it like i do with DirectTv NFL package for example.. (or if their is a way to rewatch it i dont know how does somebody else know)?

I had the game opened on my computer just to help the number of viewers, maybe eventually they'll offer gamepass with live games once the directtv deal runs out.
Every time I checked on it, it was running fine, albeit about 10 or so seconds behind what was on tv.

I watch GamePass live on my XBox One now (or on my laptop or iphone). I think this is the first year they've (NFL.com) offered live games and it cost about the same as the ticket. Since I'm overseas it worked out perfect (got GamePass and cancelled the Ticket). However, the Bills Jags game was screwing up in the beginning because of their Yahoo experiment. I didn't have any issues at all getting HD streaming until this game (I have almost 100 mbps download). It was freezing up in the first half and it eventually got better as the game went on.

Or only show it on TV in the cities of the two teams. Because I don't live in Buffalo or Jacksonville, I was unable to record it to watch when I got home.

I wasn't able to watch it either.
I can't agree on broadcasting on TV in just the cities of the two teams. I don't live in Jacksonville or even Florida but I choose to support the Jags.
DirecTV works just fine. Also the games can be recorded. No problems with streaming games but I definitely have a problem preventing the team you choose to support from being televised.

I am not allowed to have DirecTV because of where I live (HOA rules) so that does not help. If a game is not shown locally, I can't record it.

Locally televised and DirecTV...but Internet streaming only? No thanks!

I know. One thing I never understood was why can't NFL Sunday Ticket be available from cable providers so anybody can watch it? IMO the NFL would be richer if many companies carried it instead of only one that some people can't buy. In 2006, a wind storm messed up my satellite dish, causing me to miss the whole 375 game.

I'm working overseas and had a terrible time streaming. I can't understand why the military AFN was not allowed to show the game. JAX = Military. Sad.

I watched from a work computer. It was maybe 10 seconds behind but never had quality issues.

It gets the game which no one would be able to see available to almost any one with internet. I think to say that's a stupid idea is a bit ignorant. No offense but how is availability for free to everyone a stupid idea?

Not sure what your issue could've been caused by, maybe yahoos infrastructure wasn't there on a global scale for this game?
