I should have came over to your house, then. Interestingly enough, my Vizio smart TV has the Yahoo Sports and Screen apps, but I never saw anywhere to go to watch the game. I saw pre-recorded videos about the game, but nothing about the game itself. I went to the Yahoo help site, and it only had something about the Vizio P-series. Mine is an M-series. I guess you have to buy a new smart TV every year to watch this Yahoo crap broadcast. I don't spend enough money on the NFL Sunday ticket, apparently.

Have you ever heard of bad computers, Internet connection problems, and big screen TVs? Many people have those, including me. And in my case there was no Internet access at all where I was at the time they played.

Sucks. Ever heard of not wanting to pay for Sunday Ticket or not having cable either? Don't understand the big tv problem, I watched it on my 70 inch TV with no issues.
Fact is the stream was much cheaper and reached way more people than a cable broadcast would have. And was also the first time someone could watch a game on their portable device for free. Seemed to work fine for 33 million people...
Hate it if you want, but a live stream like that is great. Televise the local games and have the option to stream any game of your choice.

I have said many times I want NFL Sunday Ticket but am not allowed to get it.
I mentioned big TVs because computer monitors are small in comparison. Why would anybody with a big TV want to watch a game on a 20-inch monitor? I certainly would not. My TV is 42 inches because I watch football on it.
Someone else said only 15 million people watched the game online and because of Internet connection issues, the NFL thought 33 million did. That makes sense to me.

You can plug a computer into a flat screen TV and watch the game on it. It's pretty simple. Like I said, I had no problems watching it on my 70 inch TV.
And if you live out of market and also out of Sunday Ticket area you're going to complain that there was actually a way for you to watch the Jags for free?
Regardless if you were able to take advantage of it or not, just the ability should be better than nothing...
I see all this talk about it being free. Yeah, this time. The drug dealer always gives his stuff away to first-timers. Hard to imagine this being any different. Perhaps one game a year will remain that way, but without any doubt, they are trying to lure people in.

i agree with everything youre saying. i dont have cable, i dont have dtv, not only was i able to stream the game and enjoy it but the same deal, if i was home i would just throw an hdmi from my laptop to my 50" flat screen and watched the jags score some points on the big screen.
at my house we are hosting a superbowl party this year, and thats the same way we will be playing that game, straight from the computer using the tv as a monitor.
objectively, having the game streamed live and for free is a really awesome thing they did for us. i guess people will find anything to complain about.

Fortunately I do have NFL Sunday ticket so I am able to watch the Jags games with the exception of the game against the Bills
I can afford a high-speed Internet connection. But their are no wired high-speed connections such as fiber, cable, or DSL available in my area
I'm using an iPhone to connect to the Internet with an 8 gig data usage limit per month

If one has Sunday Ticket, a high speed internet connection shouldn't be necessary to watch any game. Being able to afford it is irrelevant.

your argument earlier was that you pay a lot of money to have cable so that you can watch all the games. blame directv for not fulfilling their promise. not the nfl. the nfl gave you the means to watch the game. directv did not.
and for the record you can stream a live feed at 3mbps if you wanted. DirecTV has about 20 million subscribers, even assuming every one of them has the sunday ticket, you take that number vs the amount of people in the united states that have internet, (which you only need about 3mbps to stream) which is roughly 280 million people with internet access in the united states. 57 million more in the united kingdom, and to further expand, almost 3 billion internet users throughout the world.
now how many of those 20 million people have internet access as opposed to how many of those 3 billion people have directv?
i think the fact that the free stream was theoretically accessible by pretty much 2.9 billion more people, is a pretty good thing for the nfl, for the jaguars, and for the world.

I don't think anyone believes it'll be free forever, but it will at least open up some options, direct tv or nothing isn't a good route. NFL is way behind MLB in this regard, I think even NBA and NHL are pushing out streaming options now.

you can also just get the sunday ticket even if you dont have directv but its roughly 300 dollars and guess what..... you would have to stream it.
