The Jags did well today. Offense is improving. Bortles, Hurns, Robinson are the real deal. The talent on offense is there. Just need more talented, playmaking pieces on defense, ie premier pass rushing DE's, nasty mean intimidating linebackers.

Quote:They lost....again. But hey we'll be picking top 3 with another should be stud on the roster this time next year. Keep this up our 11 on both sides will all consist of top 3 picks then we'll be able to compete.
A new QB hopefully right? The next Bridgewater huh? Because Bortles sucks.

AR15--- 2nd highest fantasy points this week...
I'm pretty sure he was #1 in fantasy points in week 2 against the fish.. That's 2 out of 5 weeks where he was either 1 or 2 in fantasy points...
So yeah, he's pretty good.... But he's a Jaguar, so we cannot call him "transcendent" or anything... :whistling:
Edit: Fantasy points for a WR... just FYI...

The offense has played better every week and I think JT makes a big difference.
The bills, jets, tacks, tinhorns, and clots at home are all winnable games if we can score points like we did today.
I'ts also possible that 7-9 could win this division; so there is a little hope left.

I started bortles and robinson in fantasy so it wasn't a total loss lol

Oh forgot this one, the one bright spot on the Dline was Abry Jones who made a couple really nice plays.

Don't forget the tackling part.

I got a bunch of fansty points from Martain raining all over us in one of my fansty leagues.

Quote:He showed some things, but he reverts back to his old ways too often still. People want results now but the fact is when you do something for a long time incorrectly, it does take some time to correct it. If he can completely eliminate his mechanical woes he could be a top 10 QB.His mechanics are pretty much an non issue. I hav'nt noticed andy set backs w/respect to him mechanics. Am I missing something? :ermm:

I'm estatic about BB5's progress not to mention his play. When given the time to do so, hell pick a defense apart. He may miss an open receiver every once in awhile and throw it to another targed but he threads the needle to which is impressive. Very Impressive. I So So like the fact that he's an Jaguar...

We've graduated to maddening losses instead of disgusting, unwatchable losses (New England notwithstanding... They're killing everyone).

I would much rather watch Corey Grant than Toby Gerhart if TJ doesnt play this week.

Not sure about the rest of the Jaguar fans, but this one is sick of Gus Bradley replying to every question with "That s great question."
From my own experience, that phrase is over used by people that do not qualify for a position, but want to sound like they know the answer to what you're talking about.

Quote:I am tired of positive statistics as being the only thing that we can look forward to from a Jags game. If I were a fantasy league player (which I'm not) perhaps I might then care a little more about such things; as it is, what I care about is w i n s. I don't care that bortles had his best career day if there is no W as a result of it. In fact, I find great statistics from players on this team to be just so much 'salt in the wound' if there's no W to go along with it. I would be okay with it if every player on this team sucked (statistically speaking)... as long as we were a winning team.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=abLJgwfiqAs

Pretty tough to find positives after this week but I'm tired of simply focusing on ALL of the BAD.
Walters is definitely a keep at WR. He is nothing special as an athlete but he catches everything.
ARob had another good day. I hope his injury isn't too bad.
That's pretty much it without going back and watching it again.
I think this team will win a couple more games this year but I can't even imagine which ones. I'll watch each week in hopes that the young guys of the future continue to improve.
