If they can hold on against Mizzou (up 14-3 at half) then they are almost a lock to win the SEC East. They'll be undefeated in conference play. Kentucky will be next at just one loss... and the Gators have the head to head. And then a whole host of teams will have 2 conferences losses(Tenn, UGA, Mizzou, and Vandy). Gators have head to head against UT and Mizzou(assuming win tonight). I like their chances against Vandy later in the year.
The Gators have to lose at least twice to not win. And even then with 2 losses they could still win the East depending on how tiebreakers play out. They still have a game against Vandy and SC and odds are they win both. That means they'll have to lose to UGA and LSU. And then have the Dawgs win out... or Kentucky win out. And only then would they not win the East.
If the Gators can hang on against Mizzou tonight, I would tell all you Gator fans to start booking your hotel stay at the Omni hotel in Atlanta SEC championship weekend.
They're leaving a lot of points on the field, that is for sure. I'm very surprised at this so far.
Then again Mizzou has only allowed 60 points over 5 games, so I guess I should be happy at this point.

I hope out of your 141 posts, they aren't ALL trolling me. That'd actually be quite awesome. Please tell me you have that little of a life.

Just realized the Sharks lost in the championship game. You have a new team to root for now?
The East is terrible again. But it's impressive what McElwain has done so far.
Completely forgot you can block people on this message board.
Yes, my negative side says hopefully him reviving this team isn't a case of just how bad the east sucks though.
No doubt. That D is for real. Offensively, they surprised everyone last week. Can they do that week to week or was it a fluke?

That's the biggest thing, whether the D is playing lights out on every drive or just making a play when it's actually needed, they show up every week.
Definitely need consistent offense against LSU though, that's about the only game that looks tough until obviously FSU.

That's ok, everybody else can still see that you are a fairweather fan.
Coach Mac was getting ripped by a lot of people for the way he acted towards Taylor when Taylor put himself above the team. Turns out that's just what this young team needed. He laid down the law and made it clear that selfish behavior wouldn't be tolerated even by players with a pedigree. He is the unabashed leader of that team and a refreshing change from the Muschamp era. He's not going to win every game as coach but he will not let this team beat themselves by making stupid mistakes. I couldn't be more thrilled by the way he's turned this team around.

The guy calls for the Jaguars to relocate. Then he makes a statement about rooting for a winning organization like the sharks. You're going to get ribbed about it.

Still have four conference games, so it's still wide open, but sitting in a very good spot as of now.
