That's not a big surprise, I'm sure some of these posters on here curse us every game at some point.

I'll admit I try not to but sometimes a curse word or 2 slips out here and there.
According to Bradley today they might sit him out for a long time hoping he'll get better and can stay healty next time. I don't know how "long time" translates in football weeks but I doubt we'll see him anytime soon.

Quote:Fowler could have helped us just as much.

Not as much. The defense wasnt the problem in that game.

LoL they sat him out the entire camp and he got hurt the first day back. They sat him out the entire preseason and he got hurt his first game back. We might as well put him on IR and use the roster spot on someone who can actually suit up and contribute to this team

Yeah I'm over this guy. Why draft someone who has THIS much of an injury history. Yeah they might not have been huge but jesus this is an everyday thing
I'm beginning to feel like I should treat Lee as Caldwell treats Blackmon.

I'm prepared to move on without him.

No shock here.... Sad news... Hope the best for Lee but man things have not looked good.

Should Jags just IR Lee?

Give him a good long time to heal. Seems to be a pattern to sit a few weeks, play a game, be out a few more weeks. Lather, rinse, repeat.
he had all offseason to "heal" and here we are

dude's hamstring is made of Vienna sausage meat

he needs to be cut and put in hospice care

I'm not even sure that JB's odds of being a successful NFL player isn't higher than the Albino Tiger
Second round pick wasted on Lee. Looks like we'll never see him actually play more than 3+ games in a row...

Feel bad for him - he has a serious problem with his hamstring and he can't help it. Sucks for us because he was going to be a special weapon for this offense. #BecauseJaguars

Marqise Lee is terrible. Send him back to whatever cupcake factory he was baked in.

Never really having any type of serious hamstring injury, someone please help educate me. Is it just a matter of pain management? Will it physically hinder you from running other than the pain? If it's just pain, they got shots for that.

Generally range of motion is shot, it can really affect your ability to get any sort of power out of it. It's pain management is of limited value in most cases.

I had a hamstring injury back in HS football and it lingered for seven weeks. It hurts to run, gets very tight and limits you from running at a playable speed. Can't make quick cuts or moves at all. You can get shots for the pain, but playing will only injure it more and set you back even longer.

No it's not a pain tolerance issue. There are hamstring strains which is less severe and more common. The main issue is that if you don't let it heal completely that the injury will come back and also could lead to a complete tear which is bad news and could require surgery. It's hard to even walk depending on the strain and usually just need time to rest.
I have a feeling I know how this is gonna go, but would you take a 6th round pick for marqise lee?

I think I would, in a heartbeat

I think that would be an awful trade considering lee's value will never be lower than it is now. Eventually he will finally be healthy enough to stay on the field and at that point we will actually be able to see his capabilities. It's not worth at all to give up on him this early for that late a pick considering he can be a good player and we could really use him. He's not costing us that much to just leave him on the bottom of the roster while he figures his issues out.
