This is what I have been thinking:

Ole Miss was not a top 10 team until the Rebels barely won at Tuscaloosa. Now they are in the top five just because of that one game. OVERRATED

Oregon was in the top 5 before its loss at Michigan State. Two weeks later, the Ducks are unranked. because of what Utah did to them. OVERRATED.

Speaking of Utah, did anyone expect them to do much this season? They have been climbing up the ladder in the Pacific 12 rankings. UNDERRATED

Of course I want Ohio State to stay on top every week, but if I was an unbiased poll voter, I would drop them out of the top 5 this week. OVERRATED

As far as I know, Clemson never receives the national attention as a playoff contender other undefeated teams  have be getting now. UNDERRATED

I don't know what to say about Michigan going in and out of the rankings. It was nice to see Florida finally got back in.

So who do you think is ranked too high or too low in the Week 5 AP poll?

Notre Dame? Definitely not underrated. Agree with the rest.
Not that they will ever make the playoffs, but Duke deserves to be in the top 25. Played Northwestern really tight then beat Georgia Tech who was ranked at the time.

Given the Utah's 42 point blowout over Oregon @ Oregon.

I think we got our most overrated & underrated teams right there.

LOL Utah rose to the top 10 while Oregon fell out of the top 25 after that.

Oregon is still ranked in the coaches poll.

It seems like nobody talks about that one. All of the articles I read only mention the AP poll rankings.

Of course both polls are wrong, but which one would you say is more accurate? The biggest surprise here is FSU at #9.

The Rebels were #12 and jumped to #3 only because they won at then-#2 Alabama. That is what I call overrated.

Did you think Bama was the #2 team in the country prior to the Bama - Ole Miss game?

Try not to let the loss afterwards bias your answer.

My point is Ole Miss would have already been ranked in the top 10 before that game if it really was that good. There was an obvious cause-and-effect in the AP rankings.

Agreed!  Ole MIss is for real! Florida will find out Saturday evening.

Florida is #25 after starting the season unranked, so winning that game will not convince me Ole Miss should be #3. Now if Ole Miss beats Georgia, that's another story.
Ole MIss has also been winning without the service of Tunsil, widely consideredf a top 5 player in all college football.

Never heard of him. What position does he play?

So what will your argument be if Bama beats UGA this weekend?  Is Ole MIss validated since Bama knocked out a team in UGA you feel is high calibur?
