Quote:Would be so nice though. Alshon, Arob, JT. Can't I dream? WON'T YOU LET ME DREAM?!

You forgot Blackmon!
Willie Young would be a nice pickup, 10 sacks last year as a traditional 4-3 DE.

What about Kyle Fuller?
If we're just picking people off 0-3 teams...

I'll take Willie Young, and Brandin Cooks....

I don't understand why we aren't trading for Brady and Gronk, i mean, did Caldwell even watch the game this weekend!?!

I don't think these two are on the block.

What is Dave doing? We NEED more pass-rushers and Willie Young could be that guy. We wanted him in the off-season and now he's up for grabs. Give the Bears one of our 6th round picks for him and be done with it - the guy had 10 sacks last season!

It makes a lot of sense. I really hope we're at least making an attempt

Honestly, Alshon for a higher round pick is worthwhile as well. Our offense would look legit, especially with JT back.
Alshon would get here and get injured somewhere between JIA and Everbank.  Be out 6-8 weeks.

In all seriousness.  If Caldwell trades a #2 for Alshon it will be a big sign that he is on the hot seat.  I don't see him parting with a high pick like that unless he is desperate to make something happen.

I think a 3rd would be the highest I'd give for him.
I can't see how Alshon Jeffery could garner more than a Rd 3 pick from the Jags especially since it will most likely be a pick in the low 70s.

Still, I would favor trading the Jags 2016 Rd 3 for Alshon Jeffery.

The Jags are one of the few teams that could sign Alshon Jeffery to a long term contract this year. The Jags are like 43 Mil under the cap.

Well he's already injured
Would love Alson and also I hope we claim Brock Vereen

Trade a third-round pick for Alshon and Forte. Flip Alshon to Atlanta for Julio Jones. Trade Yeldon and Forte to Detroit for Megatron. Championship.

Cutler could mentor Bortles!
No shot Chicago trades alshon. Maybe they do it for our first but that is likely a top 10 pick, no thanks.

No thanks on forte, Dave has at least shown the ability to draft useful players with mid round picks. Forte is 30, expensive and, although he would help us this year, we aren't winning many games with or without him so pass.

Fuller probably isn't for sale and he has been terrible this year.

I wouldn't mind trading a late round pick for Young, he can definitely help our pass rush and be a nice player for the rotation going foward.
I agree with a few of the posters that said that Forte is definitely not an option for this team. He is too old to be put on a team that doesn't have championship potential this year. As for alshon, there is no way they trade him unless we give up a super early draft pick which I can't imagine Dave would be dumb enough to do. I think the Bears are more looking to get rid of older players so they can start a semi-rebuild. Alshon is one of the last people they would trade unless they got an outrageous offer. I could definitely see Forte being traded somewhere if the price was right.

Why? He would instanly be the best reciever on the team.

A 1st or 2nd is A LOT to trade for anyone. Imo anyway.
