Hey guys. Coughlin is holding a press conference at 11:30am. Thought we can discuss about it here. Won't be able to listen, but love the updates you guys bring for these type of things. Thanks!
11:25 it starts (as expected)
Audio is awful, so I'm not going to transcribe as I wanted to.
O'Halloran just posted fifteen "z"s on twitter.
Will be interesting to understand what the reason for the press conference was.
When Tom Coughlin has a press conference, you watch and listen. O'hoolligan can cram his Twitter z's up his Twitter butt.
Looks like the fullback position is coming back.

Coughlin is about as exciting as watching paint dry. Let's not get bent because of our affection for the coach.
The first question was about Amukamara, to which there was a non-response response.
Emphasis on special teams. Everyone on the roster must be prepared to play it.
Brent Martineau killing it on twitter now if anyone wants a "play by play."
Anything else? What is Martineau saying that means anything?

"Fullbacks have been discussed. We have talked about those that are available."

High praise for McCardell, that he is a model for toughness and that should help the team.
The usual praise for Poz (professionalism, approach.)
Impressed with Marrone's input on staff, had done his own homework (brought a lot to table to help in decision making.)
I love how he was baited to talk crap about Ramsey and his attitude. Of course he didn't bite. I don't exactly see Coughlin clashing with Ramsey either, That fire he spits in interviews is also what you see on the field. Its not something you want to extinguish but rather contain just a tad and watch with awe.
Edit: Also about Keenan being our WR coach, I think this might be huge for Robinson. He regressed himself because of Blake AND him getting hard pressed at the line every snap. If he can learn to fight back against CBs, He might be able to return to those 2015 numbers which would in turn help Blake immensely.
Transcript will probably be on the site soon.
Not really a whole lot there, other than what's been shared.
Coughlin emphasized it's "Shad's team" when asked if it was his.
So basically Gus' teams were mentally soft? lol
And some people keep apologizing for Gus.
Bortles has a lot of work to do, particularly in turnovers.
(obvious and expected to hear this)
Tom looks 10 years younger. Refreshing to hear him instead of the bald buffoon.

I certainly hope you didn't put much effort into this "analysis." It certainly shows.

Seemed liked Coughlin was emphasizing toughness.... no?
He said thats something this team lacked. So maybe.... the team was mentally soft.
“I think to improve the quarterback we have to improve the protection”
- Coughlin
Expect a major run at some O-Line men in free agency and the draft.
