That Indiana RB when I have seen him play (been injured) has been pretty good, the announcers kept saying Indiana has a GOOD OL but Michigan was the 3rd best run defense in the country and he rushed for 200+ yards
I think we got to go secondary in the 1st but my god A'Shawn Robinson has blown me away in the last few games. Most dominant player on the most dominant front 7 in college football.

I think he's going to go in the first 15 picks.

He's making a case

He was almost unblockable against LSU. Very impressive.
Any of those top defensive players with the first 2 picks. I don't care who.

This. Soooooo much this. If I was in charge of the Scouts (and let's all bow our heads and thank the Lord above that I am not) I'd double up the research on all of the top Defensive Linemen and make absolutely certain that we have a lock on which one of them is a Top 50 player.

The roster right now would just flourish if they had some semblance of a pass rush. Let's go get us one!

Holy leverage!
Speaking of Robinson.

20...going on 40.
If we do manage to sneak into the playoffs we will shift our focus from the Bosa/Hargreaves/Ramsey group to the Robinson/Bullard/Ragland-type guys.

It'd also be amazing if we made the playoffs and could get Myles Jack to fall to us.

I do love the sound of Jack and Telvin on the same linebacking corp...

I think our draft plan for the first round is fairly simple this year...draft the defensive prospect who you think will have the biggest impact on our team.

Realistically we have a need everywhere except for Telvins spot.
Quote:Free Agency

Trumaine Johnson-STL-CB-Probably wont be resigned by STL and would match up well with House and Colvin to fill out our starting CBs

Cordy Glenn-BUF-OT-Buffalo is already starting to rotate his snap count as they know they probably wont be able to resign him this offseason so bring him in for the LT spot and that would give us 2 bookend tackles

Danny Trevathan-DEN-LB-Would love to get him to play with Smith/Poz he can tackle really well and cover TE/Rbs really well which would be a fantastic asset

Draft

1st Round-Jalen Ramsey-FSU-FS-Sergio Brown and Josh Evans.........Ramsey would fit great on the Defense and would complete the secondary with House/Johnson/Colvin/Cyp
Scout Report-<a class="bbc_url" href='http://www.cbssports.com/nfl/draft/players/2071515/jalen-ramsey'>http://www.cbssports.com/nfl/draft/players/2071515/jalen-ramsey</a>

Youtube-<a class="bbc_url" href='https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rL4MplOj2IU'>https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rL4MplOj2IU</a>

2nd Round-Yannick Ngakoue-Maryland-LEO
-Would rotate with Fowler and be a really good pass rushing duo because all Ngakoue does is get sacks

Youtube-
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XlXMAmomiDI

3rd Round-Eric Striker-OKlahoma-OLB-Another LB? We have Skuta/Smith/Poz/Trevathan? Yes but LB depth on this team has been terrible for years and striker turns it into a strength

Scout Report-<a class="bbc_url" href='http://www.cbssports.com/nfl/draft/players/1996789/eric-striker'>http://www.cbssports.com/nfl/draft/players/1996789/eric-striker</a>

Youtube-<a class="bbc_url" href='https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bndBUxbJBc4'>https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bndBUxbJBc4</a>

4th Round-Brandon Shell-South Carolina-OG-Another South Carolina Gaurd? Yes,he is not a good tackle because he is so massive but at guard he can maul and compete with Cann/Beadles

Scout Report-<a class="bbc_url" href='http://www.cbssports.com/nfl/draft/players/1852872/brandon-shell'>http://www.cbssports.com/nfl/draft/players/1852872/brandon-shell</a>

5th Round-Eric Murray-Minnesota-CB-More of a depth pick up to be the 4th corner and say bye bye so Gratz or Mccray, not great but just a good football player

Scout Report-<a class="bbc_url" href='http://www.cbssports.com/nfl/draft/players/1983762/eric-murray'>http://www.cbssports.com/nfl/draft/players/1983762/eric-murray</a>

6th Round-Drew Kaser-TAMU-P-A punter? Yes ours sucks and this guy is good so its a need. Guy can boom it at 47.5 yards a punt

6th Round-Ka'imi Fairburn-UCLA-K-Is perfect on the year from field goals and also hit a 60 yarder and improved his accuracy every year. Myers did ok this week but stil need an upgrade

7th Round-Joe Bolden-Michigan-ILB-7th round pick the guy is a good football player and in the 7th round if you can play special teams and play good when your called upon thats all i want

Scout Report-<a class="bbc_url" href='http://www.cbssports.com/nfl/draft/players/1983734/joe-bolden'>http://www.cbssports.com/nfl/draft/players/1983734/joe-bolden</a>

Yuck, what a bad draft this would be. Reminds me of a Gene Smith draft... Jus bad... Ramsey in the first is already a bad start, then It just gets worse... my advice, watch full game tape and not highlights when evaluating draft prospects, then you will know what I'm talking about... not teasing you, just giving you advice
I'm curious about Johnathon Allen, the DE from Bama. He may be a product of those two awesome dts but if he is legit he could be a good 3rd pick and play the Big End with Odrick.

Well can't be a gene draft because every guy up there is fromantic a power 5 school. Ya so I don't just watch the highlights,I put those in for people who haven't watched them to just check them out. I know ramsey has had the drops this year but unlike our secondary(besides house last week) he is in position to at least get interceptions unlike our secondary. The Maryland DE has been destroying this year, the Oklahoma LB is a solid depth LB,shell is a depth guard who is a massive guy and good in the run game. The punter us the best in the country,The kicker is a top 3 draft eligible kicker, the Michigan lb is just a random guess, guy just shows heart and hustle. I mean kinda hard to watch film on a kicker and punter that aren't considered highlights and that's a third of my draft. Everyone knows ramsey is a beast who has moved back to corner this year and has just struggled with the drops. It's not like I watch every game of every player, that's impossible.
I Love this concept of us fans and other draft nicks watching "film" and "tape."

I must imagine the fed ex guy hates this when they have to deliver the cans of film and tape.

I imagine it is a pain to store all of this in the basement as well.

Lord knows I have all of the video guys at all of the universities on speed dial so they can send me their school's All-22  as soon as the cut ups are ready.

Carry on, please, I have to spool another can on the Ol' Reel-to-reel.  ( I say all of this in good fun-I'm as draft obsessed as anyone...or as much as I can be.)

No no.....we must have tape and/or film.

Cans of it, including All-22, to compare to ol' tape and film  from the 1986 draft class, for example, if need be.

It is just a funny notion/concept.

I still have the entire 2006 and  2007 complete recordings for every single game, every single play.  I watched all of it, and it was mega exhausting.
