I think there's a good chance we sign him in the off-season. How's he looking coming back from his injury?

All I can offer is his PFF grade. -4.6.

I've thought about that too, but Wiz has been playing well enough to be considered a long term starter here assuming he keeps it up.

Alex Mack has made probowls and been voted to second team All-Pro. If he's still playing at that level I don't think you hesitate to sign him over an average-ish starter like Wisnewski.

It might be the plan since we only signed Wiz to a 1 year deal. But how old is he now? He seemed like he wanted to come here when we tried to pull him. But things change after a few years.

IIRC Alex Mack's injury was a broken fibula. That means it healed months ago. If he is still playing, there is no reason not to try again. However, he may opt to stay in Cleveland after the season if the Browns win more games than us.

He's turning 30 this year.

Anything under 18 will get you over 20.

I am a Browns fan as well a Jags fan. The answer is not good. He was pushed into the back field by the Titans on nearly every play. It killed the rum game. I don't know if he us struggling after injury or what but he doesn't look the same.

Sad to hear the rum wasn't strong.

I gave him the benefit of the doubt in the first game because they played the Jets but the Titans interior d-lineman are not that great.

Not to de-rail the thread, but I did that a few years back myself. Made it a "guy's weekend" and hit up a Casino in Charleston WV along the way. We visited Buffalo Trace, Jim Beam, Maker's Mark, and Heaven Hill. Had a great time!

I live in WV and know exactly where that casino is located haha.

Age does matter! lol Saying the age of a player doesn't matter is like saying the size and weight of the player doesn't matter to their position..... "Hurns, you're now going to start playing Defensive Tackle! Get out there and make something of yourself!"..... Mack is going on 30 and seems to be on the decline from the injury. I don't know if I would go after him again like we did before. It depends on how his season goes this year.
