The Raiders apparently did not want a gold 50-yard line during baseball season. Has anyone heard anything about this before? I was surprised because it looks like all teams have to do is paint the number 50 in gold, not install something.

its a shared field, been going on forever . the stadium is old and a better baseball field than a football field

Interesting, I read yesterday that they told the NFL that even after the A's are done with their season they still wouldn't do it. (Please don't ask for a link, please google.)

What doesn't make sense is the NFL claims they won't change the color, but Mark Davis said they will. Isn't Davis the guy who would tell the NFL whether they are doing it or not?
