Feels familiar all over again. In 2008 we thought Gene had landed us a blockbuster draft only To watch it all erode within a few years. Then the drafts following never lead to anything but empty hopes.

I'd like to know where you get this from because I was listening to Gus Bradley's interview on jaguars.com earlier today and he distinctly said that Josh Evans would start.

I liked it when Sample played FS in the last preseason game. He did quite well at the position. I'm still holding on to Cyprien becoming that Kam Chancellor at the SS position and Sample becoming a above talent at FS.

It surprised me too, but that's what Bradley and Oesher said.

If Evans is filling the Cyprien role (which wouldn't be a complete disaster at all), he'll be spending more time in the box than in coverage.

 

All the same, yeah, if the offense wants an easy 20 yards, all they have to do is put a receiver one-on-one against Evans, send him downfield, then wait for the pass interference flag.

Does it really matter who takes the first snap? Both will be on the field heavily.

Do you have an exact quote of the instagram? Keep in mind that "having a regular role" does not mean starting.
