Bortles needs some reliable weapons. I can't wait to see Thomas and, hopefully, a more developed Lee on the field.

Simply spectacular. The sky is the limit. Needs more top end talent at receiver, and Yeldon needs to take a #4 seat behind all the vets. Not ready yet in my view.
I agree with everything you posted.

I'm sorry but if Bortles had Hilton he would be better than luck

Quote:I kind of disagree.. I think there's more bright spots on this team than some people tend to realize..
QB
WR
RB - kinda shaky right now until we get a good look at Yeldon, DRob showed flashes that he can be explosive
TE
Some OL - Seeing improvement among QB protection, Joekle is one of the main concerns and hasn't done much and should be phased out soon enough if trends continue.
K
And that's just the offense..
That's some strong Koolaid you're drinking.

I'm just glad the Texans didn't pick Bortles in the draft.
Could you imagine what he would do to the Jags defense twice a year if they continue to play like they have this preseason?

I love your homerism. I hate the caveman, and I am hoping Bortles wins a Super Bowl before he does. It would bring me so much pleasure.

Looks like we finally did something right in the draft with our first round picks.

Dude is legit. It seems like he has that swagger too, that the other teammates, even vets, can accept him as a leader. It helps that he looks closer to 30 y/o

There was no where to run. He can't open up the holes himself.

How does that help?

I heard he started shaving at 5 years old.

He's the best player on the team

Hindsight 20/20, the Jags should've nabbed Beasley or Cooper with the first rounder and let Fowler tear his ACL for another team. But there's always next year.

I'll hold judgement unti the real season starts, but to me this preseason, everything he's shown, he has a chance at being a elite qb at some point during his career.

Its weird having a QB. Don't know how to react.

I'm an Eagles fan, but like to check out some of the younger QB's around the league. Bortles is legit. Joeckel looked a lot better run blocking than in pass protection. Need to do something about that. Got to keep your franchise QB clean.

I keep expecting him to Gabbert it up. It's hard for me to be excited with all the disappointment we've had, because I always feel like our players that look good are either going to get injured or just absolutely suck when the bullets start flying.
